This beautiful log 'chalet' style home is located in Meredith, NH. The house is just a very short walk to Lake Winnesquam with a large sandy beach and boat docks that everyone can enjoy.
When you enter our new home you will encounter a new, fresh and clean, open air feeling from its unique rustic interior with wood floors and new carpets. The living room area has a super large sectional couch which 2 people can sleep on or 8 people can sit around and watch our 42" plasma tv. The house has an open concept living room with a designer kitchen. There are 4 large sliders to a wrap around deck for daily and nightly entertaining.
All décor is log home style with deer heads, log beds, moose and bear décor from around the world. It has a dining room table which overlooks the deck which can seat up to 10 people. The kitchen has pine cabinetry and black granite countertops. It has new appliances and all of the modern conveniences that you will find in your own home. Make yourself breakfast and serve it on our moose and bear plates while drinking coffee out of our deer mugs.
The master bedroom is warm and inviting with plush carpet, king size log bed (you wont want to get out of!) and log bureas. The master bath is beautifully decorated with a nice Onyx vessel sink and super large shower. Upstairs top level is a large bedroom with 3 full size beds and room for more. A nice large bathroom is located on the bottom floor that includes a washer and dryer. Downstairs also has a new bedroom that is equipped with a log bunk bed with a full size bed on the lower and twin on the upper. This room also has a futon full size bed that comfortably sleeps two.
There is a conveniently long horseshoe driveway that can accommodate a few boats and cars.
Our home is located within 10-15 minutes to downtown Meredith where you can enjoy wonderful restaurants, bars, entertainment and great shopping for anything that you may need. Take part in the many activities and lake sports in the scenic Meredith Bay area. It is our favorite vacation spot to visit and is conveniently located to Boston and the surrounding areas. Laconia is well known for its wonderful antique shops, shopping,restaurants, and the famous "Bike Week".
The home is available for 1 week at a time. It is one of the most comfortable places you will rent and hopefully want to come back to year after year. This will be our 2nd summer to rent it and we want everyone who stays there to love and enjoy it.

$400 security deposit for weekly rental

Weekly rentals only. We may rent for a LONG weekend(fall &winter depending on
our schedule. We will be accepting MC/Visa (working on it!)

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
Our names are Kathi and Rick Blanchflower, we live in Leominster, Ma but love going to our log home as much as we can! It is a great retreat and we never seem to want to leave the place. Rick owns a logging company and he had built the house with the wood that he cut. His family, brothers, sons and myself all helped to build this house, we would work every weekend and after a year 1/2 we finally finished it and it is beautiful.
Rick is 51 and has 4 grown children. He grew up in Mass but spent alot of time in NH. He bought the property in 2000.
Kathi is 46 and is from Mass also but lived in Ft.Myers, Fl for many years. I am a bookeeper and also work for Ricks company. We met in NH in 2003 and got married in Nov.2008.
We both love to work and play hard!
