This beach front property consists of two houses with a total of 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Rent one or both depending on your needs.
The BEACH HOUSE is a beautiful one-story, split level house with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. The blue ocean fills every window with its ever changing beauty. This house is designed for comfort inside and out. Inside comfort is provided with an extra large, built in couch, two dining tables and large kitchen with bar seating inside and out. Out side on the beach side patio there are plenty of places to hang with hammocks rocking chairs and outside dinning.
The garden house is two story 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home. It has a little bit of ocean view from the bedroom balcony. The atmosphere is pleasant with plenty of ocean wave and bird sounds. This house also has an extra large built-in couch of its own. The garden house house includes the same basic amenities as the main house. It also comes with a full laundry room. he two properties are completely separate for maximum privacy. Separate entrances driveways and yards.
Our place is located just 2 miles north of Los Barriles. It is a 45 minute drive north from the Cabo Airport in the East Cape Region of the Baja Peninsula.
Designed for informal relaxation, both homes have an open floor plan with exotic palapa roofs over most of the enclosed living area. The ocean-front view is fantastic, stretching from Punta Pescadero to the North and Punta Arena to the South. All bedrooms are positioned to provide a view of the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez from bed.
Sun and shade are plentiful on our patios. The beach house has A beautiful 600-square-foot shade structure spanning the entire width of the ocean side of the beach house. Mature palms and ficus trees surround the property attracting song birds and humming birds. A shady rocking chair or hammock is never more than a few steps away. Nature is ever active around Casa Ora, pelicans cruising, fish jumping, and the ever changing blue-green water of the Sea of Cortez. There are many whale sightings right out front, along with many dolphins and some sea lions, too.
Vacation Rental Amenities
Casa Ora is a fully equipped home. All cooking needs; coffee maker/grinder, blender, citrus juicer (pick up a big bag of juice oranges from one of the roadside vendors), microwave, washer/dryer, BBQ, custom locally built rocking chairs, games, TV-VCR with movie and TV tape collection and a CD-tape player with an eclectic music selection. We have some beach toys, umbrellas, coolers and miscellaneous stuff for fun. There is a two person sit-on-top kayak included.
I usually have a case of empty returnable beer bottles
around to exchange (Pacifico is good, but Bohemia is better).
Activities and Attractions
This our ultimate hideaway. Hang in one of the palm shaded ocean-view hammocks or relax in the oversized rocking chairs. There's great beach combing, snorkeling and sandcastle building right out the door on the beach. You won't have to look far for fun.Ora
Additionally, just two miles to town, you can find other activities such as fishing charters, ATV rentals, windsurfing, kite surfing lessons and rentals. There are several nice sit-down restaurants in town and many taco and hamburger stands.

- Air Conditioning : The 2 beach house bedrooms have air conditioners. ALL living spaces including bathrooms are cooled by ceiling fans. The multiple ceiling fans, palapa roofs, and ocean breezes are the best way to keep cool in Baja.
- Linens Provided : All sheets are quality with high thread count. Multiple types of pillows, some down pillows.
- Washer : There are 2 washers on the property. The guest house has a full laundry room in the extra bathroom with a dryer.
- Dryer : A Full Washer/Dryer laundry room is available in the guest house. The beach house has a newer full sized washing machine and a small older dryer and a laundry line (the line is almost always the quickest way to dry & the way we do it ourselves.)

- The North Beach Kite Surfing launch is less than a mile to the south. It is an excellent launch, with side shore winds and a huge amount of wide open sandy space. There are several excellent instructors (we were taught by Ian and Megan at Exotikite). They have the latest North Rebel bow kites, featuring complete depower. If it's blow'n we're go'n!

Our stay at Casa Ora could not have been more wonderful. The house is beautiful, right on the Sea of Cortez - outstanding view and relaxing atmosphere!. The rocking chairs and hammocks were well enjoyed, as were the sea kayaks. Our hosts, Reese and Dieter, were terrific and so helpful. The quiet and calm were just what we needed. We'll be back again!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
