Perfect property for our two night getaway. Clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed interior. King size bed was very comfortable and not always available in rental properties. Spectacular views enjoyed from living room and patio. Great hiking trails down to the beach or up in the headlands. Convenient location with isolated feel. Very helpful and responsive owner.

You couldn't find a better place to stay in Dana Point - or anywhere else, for that matter. The listing can't adequately describe the view, you've got to see that for yourself. Bo was a pleasure to deal with, the condo was very clean and spacious, and there wasn't a thing we needed that wasn't provided. We saw spouting whales and dolphins from the balcony, and were entertained by surfers from dawn to dusk. Access to the Headlands walking paths and switchbacks/steps to the beach (and mulit-million dollar mansions) are at your doorstep. Convenient to many restaurants, shopping, you name it. Friends of ours had recently stayed at the Ritz Carlon (within view down the beach), but we much preferred staying in this condo. We're pretty picky as long-time owners of a 2 bdrm beach condo in Delaware, but have nothing but praise for this place. Thanks for letting us stay!

The location is wonderful. Breathtaking views from the balcony. The condo is very clean, comfortable and includes a great washer/dryer. We enjoyed walking to the beach or do the trails. The owner was very helpful and communication easy. Definetly recommend it! P. S. We had a delicious lunch at the Dana Harbor, the restaurant is called Wind &Sea. Mai tai & mahimahi, yum!

We came down from No. CA to take a brief, college graduation (in March) trip with our son. Last minute planning was aided by Bo, our host, and all went as anticipated. The condo has a spectacular ocean view from inside or from on the deck, warm fireplace at night, comfortable beds,a clean environment and many amenities. The condo is on a bluff above the beaches but the walk down is steps away and the area is easy access to nearby towns and beaches. We had someone to contact if we had problems (which didn't occur) so no worries about that. The place and the people together made for a memorable time--which is what we wanted. We weren't disappointed and do recommend.

Wonderful Last Minute Graduation Trip

Our son had just graduated from UCLA in March, and since ceremonies aren't until June, we decided to come down from No. CA for a little family celebration trip with last minute planning. Bo was exceptionally helpful in coordinating needs/dates and in helping us to make it a memorable time. The condo is lovely and sits on a bluff overlooking the ocean right next to the beach access walk.. Weather went from resolving rain to heavy fog to warm sunshine while we were there, and all were enjoyable from either the living room window wall or the ocean view deck.(I even got up in the night just for the privilege of sitting at the living room window and looking out over the waves breaking in the moonlight.) All the extras we needed (and more) were available in the condo and parking was easy for us and for a visiting relative. A close drive to everything and a wonderful vacation spot with a great host. Recommend.

We had a wonderful time over the holidays in this house with spectacular views! It was very comfortable and homey and we would stay there again in a heart beat. We hiked down to the beach everyday and it was such a beautiful view the entire walk. The owner was very responsive to any questions and clearly wanted to make sure we had a great time. The only hard part is that the bathroom/dressing area off the master bedroom doesn't have a door so we bought a curtain rod and put up a temporary curtain - very easy. If you're a family, it's not an issue at all, but if you have 2 couples, it's a bit harder. Thanks, Bo, for a wonderful vacation!!!

We were looking for the perfect place to spend time with family, our 7 week old grandbaby and friends. We wanted to be right at the ocean And this place was PERFECT. It was big enough for 4 adults and 1 baby to stay and not get in each others way. The place was clean, had everything we needed to have friends over for lunch and dinners The Ocean Views were OUTSTANDING. The beach is very close. You can walk down the steps or go to the other end of the parking lot of the beach and take the little elevator. We were so happy with this condo that we will be going back yearly for a vacation. Hi Bo, Thank you so much for allowing us to spend time in your home for our special occasion! Our visit with our Marine son before he was deployed to Afghanistan was priceless. Thank you for allowing our family to rent it around the Holiday and for the extra day you gave us at the end of our trip. Your place is so beautiful and comfortable. The view is beyond description. Our sunsets everynight were amazing. We loved watching the surfers and walking the path to the harbor. The fire place was so cozy on those cool nights. The beds were one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. My son Steve told me "that he had not slept that good in months. He had a must needed rest in your home. We also took a trip with Captain Dave and his Dolphin Safari. It was fantastic. We saw a pod of about 1,000 Dolphins. There were babies jumping. We also saw a Blue Whale which was on my bucket list to see as well. He was about 70 feet long. WOW! My son Steve and I got to spend some one on one time together something we rarely have time to do. We walked the beach and watched the kite surfers. It was a priceless time with our son and we just can't thank you enough. Even though he has lived in California for three years now he had never been to Dana Point. He wants to visit again when he returns from Afghanistan. It was one of our favorite places we have been in California as well and we have traveled all over California. I have to tell you about what happened to Steve and I when we walked the beach the night before we left. We were admiring all the beautiful houses on and when we came to a point we could not walk any farther because of the tide I suspect, Steve notices a flag waving on a flag pole facing the ocean. It was the Marine Corp flag. I saw the American flag above it but had not seen the Marine flag until Steve pointed it out. I thought it was such a special moment. It was a good omen. Thank you for your card for Steve and all your support. It meant the world to all of us. I wished you could of met Steve before we left. Thanks for trying. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here. Bo was very easy to work with and accomodated us on quite short notice. The condo is furnished nicely, clean, and comfortable. Have just returned from 4 week trip in California. The week spent in this property surpassed all the other destinations.The condo is perfectly positioned to provide peace and relaxation with the most spectacular views. We saw dolphins and whales from the balcony.The beach within walking distance was the best along the californian coast that we came across.Quiet with good surf and sandy underfoot.The local harbour with its shops and restaurants a pleasure to pass time in.The condo itself was well appointed with everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all utensils you could need to happily prepare a meal.Our kids loved the very comfy settee in the open plan lounge and all 4 of us could fit on!My husband, within 1 day of arriving , declared he wanted to buy this apartment and move in permanently.You can't say more than that! This area of California affords you easy access so many attractions for day trips.It really is the perfect destination.Very many thanks Bo for a wonderful break and for your prompt response to every question we had.You made this aspect of our trip hassle free!

Our family of 5 had the pleasure of staying in this beach house for a week this summer and had a wonderful vacation. There was plenty of room for all of us. It was very clean, comfortable and stylish. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out over the ocean. The view was truly spectacular, the photos displayed simply did not do it justice. The sunrises and sunsets were picture-perfect! The owner, Bo, had plenty of towels and other amenities available to us. He was professional, friendly and readily responded when called and was wonderful to work with. There were also maps and brochures available which was extremely helpful to us. The fact that he had boogie boards for the kids and beach chairs for the adults was a big plus during our time spent on this gorgeous, quiet beach. Dana Point is a great place to stay and we highly recommend this condo to other families. We would absolutely love to go back. Thank you, Bo, for helping to make our trip to Southern California a truly memorable one.

The views from this property were truly spectacular...even my five year commented. And the location is wonderful if you are traveling with children. Theme parks are close by and there are still the waves to play in after a day spent hanging out with Mickey. The owner was wonderful and so helpful in answering any of our questions. I would go back in a heartbeat!

The view of the ocean and the sunset was spectacular from this condo. The place was nicely appointed and wonderfully located. We enjoyed the stroll down the beach path to the pristine Strands beach. The owner Bo was very nice and easy to work with. We enjoyed staying at his beautiful beach condo.

We echo all of the positive comments previously left about this condo and the location ... we loved everything as well. Great views and nice central location between LA and San Diego allowed us to easily visit places north and south. Condo is very well decorated, kitchen is complete, TVs are great, etc. There were many things we didn't have time to do while visiting Southern California, and we will happily stay in this condo again when we do visit next time. Our stay at this property could not have been any better. We were very sad to leave. The home was extremely comfortable, clean, well-maintained and up to date. Absolutely magnificent ocean and sunset views, beautifully appointed decor, every possible amenity, and the kindest owner we have found ever! We have been visiting southern CA for over 30 years and were lucky enough to find this jewel of an accommodation situated atop a gorgeous secluded bluff overlooking the great Pacific. The sound of ocean waves lulled us to sleep and a cool misty breeze greeted us at breakfast. Sunsets were truly spectacular from our large private deck. Comfy beds with lush down comforters and a bright spacious ambience permeated this lovely place. A romantic fireplace along with corner-to-corner glass for exceptional oceanfront viewing while relaxing on soft leather sofas, added a special touch to lure us back after a fun-filled day of sightseeing. We'll definitely return...we've finally found our home away from home. Thanks for everything, Bo!

The weather was perfect. The beach was awesome because it is almost private. It seems to be a local hangout more than a destination beach like Laguna or Newport. It was not crowded at all. In fact there were times I counted less than 20 people on the beach for as far as I could see from the balcony. The balcony view is amazing with sunsets, city lights, and Catalina Island just off the shore. We hadn't been there more than 24 hrs and we were already planning our return trip. We planned this trip on 3 days notice in order to get out of the snow in southern Utah. Bo was a great host and was there for us when we needed him. He had recommendations for great restaurants and activities. All in all, this was a great getaway for us. We can recommend this property without reservation.

We rented this amazing condo for our son's wedding in SanJuanCapistrano for 4 days. Everything was more than perfect. We are hooked on renting homes rather than hotel stays whenever we travel.This house was one of the best ever. The view, the beds, the ease of booking, the Kaemerle family, the proximity to the beach and airport. I can't say enough.condo was a bit hard to find at first with the address given with GPS.When I called Bo he immediatly called back and helped us out.We hope to be back soon.
