The condo has a great setup - each bedroom has its own bathroom and the patio overlooks the pool. The condo is nicely situated between medano beach and downtown cabo where the clubs are located. We had a great time there - thanks Clint!

Our group of 8 (Ages: 59, 38, 33, 30, 29, 23, 22, 3) came down for a first time visit to Cabo San Lucas and the staff was very helpful directing us on good places to eat and finding a nearby gym. The place was perfect, well kept and clean. The best part was the location... just a 2 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the mall/marina. No need for a car here! From the airport we took a shuttle and took a taxi on the way back. Each way was about $20 per person. Beyond teh airport you can walk to everything needed. Unlimited number of things to do from where Marina Sol is located. Our family did whale watching, jet ski, and parasailing (make sure you bargain with the people on the beach the whale watching started out as $45 per person and we got it down to $25 per person w/ the little one going for free). Staff helped carry suitcases up for us, the pool was great and never very busy. Would come back again in a heartbeat!

The listing was very accurate and the photos reflected the place very well. The property was clean and the appearance was that of a well taken care of property. All of the staff at Marina Sol were helpful, Raul at the front desk is exactly as he was shown in the video highlight. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet place but close to the beach. It has owners that don't want to have wild parties going late into the night, so this is the place to relax and enjoy the amenities of the resort.

I have stayed in many different places in Cabo, some 5 star and some not so much. Marina Sol is not 5 star but offers very good value. Location is great, only a short walk to beach, restaurants and the marina. Beds are comfortable, unit was well equipped and clean. We stayed in a 5 bedroom unit with 8 beds. Excellent unit for a big family or 2 small families or a group of friends. I would deffinately recommend Marina Sol.

This penthouse is in a prime location to so many great things! Easy walking distance to the marina, numerous restaurants, and Medano Beach. We rented a car, but only used it to get groceries at Wal Mart. Next time, we'd arrange the shuttle through the owner and save the price and headache of a car. The penthouse is in a nice, quiet grouping of condos. The pool & hot tub are great. We were underwhelmed by the poolside bar, but mostly drank in our penthouse, so that wasn't a big deal. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a nice amenity. Our group enjoyed the pool table and the big terrace. The big kitchen was great when we felt like cooking. I don't think the price for a 5 bedroom place in this location can be beat! The front desk staff is wonderful, very welcoming & attentive. All communication with the owner was prompt and helpful as well.

We found this amazingly, conveniently situated 5 suite condominium in Cabo San Lucas on a VRBO search. It is located in a family resort, but literally minutes away from the beach on foot, and about a 3 minute walk from the main shopping centre. The security is excellent and the staff very helpful. This is a wonderful place to vacation with your kids! The main area and kitchen in the condo allow for daily meals together and tops any all-inclusive, if you have to fit in such a large group. The owner is a very kind and enigmatic man who is a realtor in Cabo and works out of the hotel. Should you encounter any problems, he is right there! One of the nights we were there, Clint organized a private chef for us to make us proper Mexican cuisine. It was delicious and a lot more reasonable than eating out. There is a laundry service in the hotel for next to nothing, as well as additional cleaning and sheet changes can be booked other than the two included in one's stay. We loved it and will be returning! Clint, the owner, also has smaller units in Marina Sol for smaller groups if this specific condo is too big for one's needs. General know-how in Cabo: The Walmart Superstore (a 5 min cab ride from Marina Sol) is as extensive and cheap as it is in Canada with a massive produce section, fresh seafood , fresh bread and a great deli section. Most cabs seat 8 ppl, so a lot cheaper than renting a car. We worked out it would have taken 60 cab rides a day to match what we would have paid to rent a car that could fit all 8 of us. Lover's Beach is truly a must visit and a short boat ride from Medona Beach (literal minutes from Marina Sol). Snorkeling and kayaking at Santa Maria is a breathtakingly beautiful, plus we saw whales. City Club( like Costco) costs you $2.50 for a membership to buy and has a lot of very reasonably priced alcohol and a huge selection. It caters in bulk with most things except the alcohol. There is an American supermarket in Cabo but it is touch-and-go with what you can find there in terms of herbs and veggies, and it is expensive. Great restaurants: Mona Lisa - fantastic view of Los Arcos, Ruth Chris'- if you love steak (and have been to the one in NYC), for lunches, appies and dinner, the Oasis Bar and Grill at Marina Sol serves excellent food. Haägen Dasz at the Mall serves fantastic coffee. You will need a month to try out all the wonderful restaurants. We still talk about how wonderful a vacation this had been!

This property is ideal for a large group! Our extended family stayed here and had a great time. Every bedroom has a bathroom attached to it, and there is an additional larger bathroom just off the entertaining area. We had only 6 adults and 4 children under the age of 6, so there was plenty of space left but it was great. The pool located in the courtyard area is a great depth for little ones and bigger kids too, but the beach is only 1 1/2 blocks away, so it's a great balance between the two. The restaurant is right by the pool, and is not only convenient, but has great food, and great specials! This location is also right in the city, so walking around to shop was very easy, convenient and fun. We are definitely hoping to make it back again next fall!! And if we do, we'll DEFINITELY be asking Clint for the Chef to come back to cook for us! SOOO worth the $$$$!

We stayed at Clint's Penthouse in October 2011. This property has EXCELLENT location, is maintained EXTREMELY well and provides all the amenities that you would find or need at a hotel! We had four couples staying together and it provided the perfect blend of privacy, along with common areas to hang out and have fun. (Pool table was great) The staff at Marina Sol were extremely friendly and we cannot say enough about the condo itself. It was so clean and well maintained...!!! You really cannot find a better location - we did not have to rent a car - we were able to find shopping, bars and beach all within walking distance. I would recommend this condo for any group that wants to stay together but still have privacy!!

was in Cabo early October with some pals for deep sea fishing , this Penthouse was 2 blocks from the Marina , we hit Starbucks for some great coffee and cafine fix first and then onto our Boat for fishing. Penthouse was perfect for 8 guys as we all had our own beds and lots of space ( place is huge inside ) we also had some other friends stay in a 4 bedroom Penthouse at this same REsort also owned by Clint they also loved that Penthouse. Place was very well maintained and had a big freezer as well which froze our fish so we could bring some back to the good ol USA

We stayed at this facility in July and had a wonderful time. There were 9 of us ranging from 79 to 13 years in age and we all had a great time. Everything is in walking distance, only a block from the beach and a short walk to the marina and downtown shopping. The penthouse was perfect, beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed having a pool table right in the room. The pool was relaxing and the grounds are beautiful. From checking in to checking out all of the employees were pleasant and always accommodating. Hope to be able to stay there again.

We went to Cabo for my mom's 60th birthday and Clint made our stay a really wonderful experience. There were 10 of us and a baby and we had MORE than enough room. The place is huge and in a perfect location. We walked to Medano beach most days (and nights) for a swim or a drink and then stopped at the pool on the way back. I definitely recommend asking about a chef for one night. Clint set everything up for us and it was great to relax in the penthouse and have a feast prepared for you. The concierge is also extremely helpful and set up a rental car for us one day to explore the area as well as a sunset cruise another night. You will not regret choosing this property for your next vacation. Thanks again Clint. Hopefully we will be back!

All we wanted was a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and 4 beds. And Clint set us up with EXACTLY what we needed. In fact, it was even better than expected. The Marina Sol was super clean, well protected, well maintained, well guarded and located walking distance to the best beach bars, nice off-the-beaten path restaurants and all the hot-spots in town. The Marina Sol also provided SUPER convenient & affordable private transportation for our group to & from the airport. Clint & Yolanda, thank you both for making this one of the best memories of my life !!

My family stayed here in May of 2011. There were 7 of us ranging from 19-60 and we all had a great time. The property, Clint, and the staff were all great! The penthouse was very nice and included everything we needed. We have nothing bad to say about the place, everything was perfect! The penthouse is only a 2 minute walk to the beach and the pool at the condominium is very nice and very warm! We definitely recommend this place to others!

We stayed at the "ultimate penthouse" for 2 weeks with our family which included us the parents and adult children in there early twenties. We have been coming to Cabo for over 20 years and I have to say this was is now our favourite spot. The apartment is very large with a huge deck overlooking the pool with a very cool smaller deck overlooking the road coming back from the beach- a great hang out for later on in the day to people watch. This unit is great for entertaining and unwinding as the complex is fairly quiet and the pool is enormous- from what I was told the largest in Cabo. Our family plans on coming back to the warm beautiful days of Cabo!!!!!

We stayed in the Penthouse for a few nights in April and had a blast. All pictures and descriptions on the site are accurate. The unit easily accommodated 10 guys and it has a very open layout for hanging out during the day or before heading out for the night, with pool table and open porch that overlooks the courtyard/pool. Clint was very helpful throughout the booking process, providing alot of information on activities and the do's and dont's of Cabo. He also was able to recommend a private chef to come to the unit and cook for the group one night, I definitely recommend doing that. The resort was a 5-10 minute walk from central Medano beach which was great. We also walked into town at night for bars/restaurants. Couldn't have asked for a better setup, and would definitely stay there again when we go back.

Great condo for a getaway with a bunch of friends/family. Has everything you need, pool table was awesome touch, huge patio over looking pool, restaurant by pool is really good. 5 minutes from beach/marina/mall/bars perfect location. Personal chef is a great addition we had for one night and well worth it, great experience. Looking forward to returning next year and would recommend to anybody looking for a very comfortable condo in a perfect location to everything.

We had an amazing week at the Marina Sol Condo. The rooms were great, kitchen, family room and recreation room (with pool table) were great for entertaining and bringing everyone together. At the same time, the rooms offered privacy for each couple (and families), and we slept great! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who's looking for a great location in Cabo that has amazing grounds and walking accessibility to anywhere. Only downside, three floors up, all stairs. Great for exercise, but a bit tough on grandma.
Owner response:Hi David Glad to hear you and your family had a nice Christmas in Cabo , it was a pleasure to meet all of you. I just want to clarify that the Ultimate Penthouse is located on the top floor , which is the 3rd floor , however it only has 2 sets of stairs to get to the Penthouse as the first floor is where the lower condos start and they are ground level enterance with no stairs. ( and your right it is good excercise ) Hope to see you again one day back at Marina Sol Clint

Stayed here for a guys trip in September 2010. The resort was nearly empty, but that was ok, since we had 10 people anyways. The condo was EXACTLY as you see it in the pictures. Each bedroom had its own bathroom the common areas had a lot of space to hang out. Marina Sol is so close to the swimmable beach, probably 2 blocks. Many places to eat around the property. Was great for us, as people could just walk to the bars (Squid Roe, etc) and even McDonald's. All in all, the perfect place for people to rent and this is the perfect condo if you have 8 or more persons. Thanks Clint, we may be back again for a future trip!

Our experience at Clint's condo was positive. The condo is spacious and Clint arranged a chef to cook a private meal one night. Highly recommend this, as it is cheaper than going to most restaurants. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. The location is great and the condo is within walking distance (2 blocks) of a great beach to hang out on. The TV died during our visit and the staff brought in a spare TV for our visit. The pool is nice and has a great happy hour specials. The complex was fairly quiet and our group was the life of the complex (could be good or bad, depending on your groups desire). Suggest arranging transportation ahead of time. The Taxi companies have an exclusive right to take guests to the airport from the condo, unless you arrange it in advance. I found a private car to / from the airport to be about the same price as a van share from the air port and a taxi return to the airport. I had the car stop at costco on the way to the condo (from the airport) and the staff helped carry everything to the condo.

This is a wonderful place for families or a large group vacationing in Cabo. It was ideal for us – 12 of us [a family vacation]. We enjoyed gathering in the kitchen which was fully equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. All of us, but the kids especially, enjoyed swimming in the pool every afternoon. The grounds were nicely maintained. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was a 10 minute walk to Puerto Paraiso Mall and the Marina and the heart of downtown Cabo. It was less than a 10 minute walk to Medano Beach where Baja Cantina became our favorite spot. We had a wonderful time and recommend the rental.

We stayed at the penthouse for one wk with my extended family- small kids, grandparents, 2 couples. It is a very spacious condo and has nice furnishings. The bathrooms are upgraded. The location is very central and we rarely needed a taxi. You do need to do a little bit of walking. I would consider the penthouse and the complex 3 star. Nice pool and clean grounds. We had a few issues with kitchen items not being there (the owner went to Costco and stocked us up), lack of adequate soap in the bathrooms,AC problem in one bedroom which was never completely resolved, one toilet overflowed causing a minor flood, and the bathrooms were not completely cleaned prior to arrival- sand in the showers. Once these issues were handled, we had a pleasant stay. The condo is on the 3rd floor without an elevator so be prepared to climb a narrow staircase with your bags. This became a huge issue for our 70 yr old grandma with arthritic knees! This was not mentioned in the description. There is a restaurant near the pool that the owner raved about, but we found it mediocre at best for lunch. We had stopped at Walmart to stock up on groceries and drinks for the week. I highly recommend it. Ask your shuttle driver to stop there on the way from the airport. Be prepared to pay him an extra tip. Our driver demanded a $30 tip! Location is close to a nice beach, restaurants,a large mall, the marina, and downtown area. All within walking distance. We usually stay in 4-5star resorts, but compromised due to the cost of getting 3 rooms in a hotel, so this was somewhat of a letdown. Next time we go we will stay in one of the resort hotel/condo complexes on the beach or the Palmilla resort. But for a guys/girls weekend of partying and pack in a large group- this is a good, economical choice.

We also enjoyed the swim up bar and Restaurant at the Resort- THE OASIS , very good food at fair prices , they even have room service if your hung over or to lazy to go out and eat. Will definitely come back and also the staff in the vacation rental office – Yolanda was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed a full week at this property. It was great for our two families and collective 6 KIDS! We were pleased with the quick two block walk to the beach. Once at the beach every thing you want to do is right there. We took jet skiis, glass bottom bottom/snorkeling trip right from there. Location really worked out great for us. The pool was a big hit with our 6 young kids. Kid friendly condo and pool. Pool was always fairly quiet, not a lot of people there which was nice for our families. There was no elevator to the condo's top third floor so a bit of a hike carrying luggage up and down but over all gave us some needed excercise after all the good food we ate. We loved the condo's big kitchen which was a big plus for feeding our little kids. We had some minor issues with the condo that we reported right away and someone came out within a day to fix (i.e. door knob came off, dishwasher bottom rack kept falling out...etc.) But outside of some minor condo issues the condo was great. Clint was great in answering all of our questions/emails. Onsite staff was very welcoming too.

Stayed in the penthouse back in April and can't say enough positive things about it. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Marina Sol is a few minutes walk to the beach and about a 10 min walk to downtown restaurants and bars. On one side you've got a great view of the pool area and in the back you've got a second patio overlooking the pathway to the beach...great people watching. Staff was courteous and attentive. Clint will make sure you are all set. HIGHLY recommend if you have a large group of people or have a smaller group like us who simply wanted their own rooms. Great value!
