WOW! Nice private studio. Its more like a one bedroom, great decoration with the best views! Close to the town, you do need a car, as you are up on a hill and the beach is just minutes away as the bird flies, walking it is a good 15 min. to beach.Nice quiet residendial neighborhood. I just got back from my first trip to Kauai and stayed here at Julie's place. It was absolutely excellent and so perfect for what I needed and wanted. The location is residential, quiet and peaceful, and yet it's only 3-5 minutes away from the beach, the markets and the shops. Having a personal lanai with a spectacular ocean and mountain view made for amazing daily breakfasts, afternoon wine and night time tranquility with the stars. The fully equipped kitchen allowed me to hit the markets, cook and feel right at home. Thank you Julie!!

I was pleasantly surprised on arrival at "Peles garden", the place is well appointed, very spacious and the views are simply amazing! The king size bed was so comfy...ummm best sleeps after a long day of hiking and seeing the most beautiful island of Kauai. Privacy with all the ammenities. Excellent place, we love it. Julie was so helpful too. We'll be back.

Thanks Julie for such a wonderful place to stay! it was all perfect even the roosters crowing, whales jumping in the distance...and such lovely views. LOVED the goose down bedding, the unit is decorated beautifully. I sometimes just sat in all the beauty...inside and out! Your place feels so good the energy. I was sad to leave, I hope to be back. Just spent 1 week at the No Ka Oi! It was FABULOUS. We practically lived on the deck, it's huge and private... only the roosters were a little loud too early once in a while. It is a perfect place tucked away and just minutes from the main street! We loved the place and WILL BE BACK again. the views are incredible. Kauai is so beautiful we are already thinking about our next trip! Julie is an inconspicuous hostess with much aloha. Mahalo

Kapaa, kauai is charming! Our stay was delightful. No Ka OI had everything we needed and more. All beach equipment, day pack, coolers, snorkel, and more. Comfortably nice and a private space. Mahalo to our hostess, we so enjoyed it here, be back!!!

This is the coolest place! The whole family surfs, we took surf lessons from Krishan, Julies husband- WHAT A THRILL, cathching n ridin that wave! We loved the huge lanai, to just chill and enjoy the sunset! WOW ! Kauai is incredible and staying here at the Nokaoi was the best. The unit had everything... IT'S PRIVATE, we totally enjoyed ourselves, and will definitely reccommend this to everyone we know. Hope to make it back to Paradise soon.

We just finished a nine night stay at Julie's wonderful studio. It was super clean and comfortable. The views in the photos do not do it justice. Our favorite was watching the sunset behind the mountains and the sky fill with stars. There is everything you could possibly want in the studio as well as equipment for the beach. The studio is centrally located for anything you want to do in Kauai. Julie was really helpful suggesting activities, restaurants, and made us feel most welcome. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Kauai. We miss it already! Mahalo, Jill and TJ (NC)

Eastside Kauai Treehouse for Two

What a great place for two! Centrally located on the east side of Kauai, this hidden gem is a great home base for activities while visiting Kauai, but has plenty of amenities to just call home and relax when you want to do nothing at all. Very clean with comfortable furnishings, well equipped kitchen, plus a great private deck with bbq and table for outdoor dining. Spectacular views from ocean to mountains, this place is secluded enough to just get away from everything, but is just a minute from the beach, and convenient to both north and south shore areas. A real find!

Great place to stay! The view from the lanai was amazing and the condo very well maintained. Our Hostess (Melinda) made sure we had everything we needed and provided us with some fresh baked goodies. NoKaOI was a delightful holiday getaway. The island style decor was great to come home to everyday, and the views made it so nice after hiking, sightseeing or just hanging out. The place is very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lanai and BBQ. I will recommend this guesthouse to all my friends.

We happened upon No Ka Oi through lonely planet and was So very surprised at the ammennities and how clean and private the place is. Being attached to the hostess home, was of no concern. The location was perfect to navigate the island. For the price it can't be beat and the views were so beautiful. Julie and Jake were great hosts!

WoW!! This place was perfect for us to spend our honeymoon, way nicer than we expected!! As we entered the studio we were surprised how lovely the decor is! Our time was too short on Kauai. I loved having the Bathtub!! Especially after the hikes, and happy hour on the large lanai was perfect. I'll never forget our GREAT experience at No Ka Oi!! Julie was so helpful about everything. We just spent 5 delightful nights at Julie's fabulous place. It felt like we were in a tree house, which we loved! The place was beautiful and restful, which we needed after all the activity we did: hiking, biking, kayaking, scuba diving! There were lots of nice personal details like fresh coconut and Julie was available for any questions. The location is perfect for exploring the island and the town feels like you are in a real town, not just a tourist town. We also recommend having a fabulous massage by Julie. Do it by the beach for an added delight!

No Ka Oi is a delightful place to stay. We were mostly on the go..go..go... It was the perfect base for all our ventures. The bike/walking trail was an unexpected big added benefit too! We went down everyday to watch the sunrise and walk 3 miles then to the local coffe house. Kapaa town is great! The locals are evrywhere not just super touristy! It was a real treat to stay at Julies place she was so helpful in every way and went out of her way to accommodate us! The unit is immaculate and has EVERYTHING we needed. We used the grill almost everynight. We will tell all our friends.

Our stay at No Ka Oi was great from the moment we arrived! A very tidy, lovely space with everything we needed. What wasn't available Julie surely provided and helped us with all our needs. To be centrally located on the island was fantastic, especially after a long day of activities.. tucked back in the jungle just minutes from the main road. We have stayed at other secluded places that took 30 min. to get to the main highway. It was superb here! We reccommend this piece of paradise for sure. Julie is a friendly and helpful hostess. We felt Aloha spirit!

We were here for the training at the rolfing school up the road! Very convienant location to the school and just everything! THe unit was so clean, we've stayed at other places in this area and this place is the best. We were so comfortable. Julie has thought of everything. I Love this perfect Hawaii vacation spot! Very clean, and very nice, all decor, views, hospitality everything so good. I cannot say enough. This place is magical, every morning i saw from 1 to 2 rainbows from the lanai. And when they were gone i had this amazing view from the ocean to the mountains. The appartment itself is very clean, dry and comfortable. Plus quite convenient since is just 5 minutes from town, easy to move around!!! I loved my stay there hope to be back next year. Darine

Wonderful evening breezes on the lanai, morning coffee gazing at the ocean, the tarro pond below, the Kauai red dirt on everything, the roosters in the morning, body surfing at the beach nearby, treasures from the weekly market, this is a wonderful spot for a single or couple.

This Aloha Apartment is the best home away from home, my kids did not hardly leave the room. We were very comfortable 2 teenagers, and Mom! The views are amazing I never expected this from the photos. I will tell all my friends and I hope to get here soon again! The lanai is huge, we spent alot of time just hangin out.

Everything was fabulous. Sitting on the large lanai eating all our meals was so nice. The views we did not expect to be so spectacular! The apartment has THE most incredible views, it was home away from home for 3 weeks! The chickens sooo early was a great alarm clock. We were here for surfing and the central location and waves everyday at Kealia beach was absolutly the best.
