This attractive apartment is ideally situated on the left bank, very close to the church of Saint Sulpice in the heart of Saint Germain des Près. It is within a short walk of the Luxembourg Garden, the Boulevard Saint Germain, the rue Bonaparte and the rue de Seine. It is also very close to the Saint Germain market and to the celebrated Buci market which is one of Paris’ most atmospheric street food, fruit and flower markets. Superb pastry shops and traiteurs feature such delicacies as fresh foie gras, lobster terrain and cassis mousse. The neighborhood also features some of the finest boutiques for clothing, leather goods and accessories in all Paris. You will be surrounded by la joie de vivre parisienne.

Originally a one-bedroom apartment which has been opened up to create a spacious 420 square foot studio with separate sleeping area, the apartment looks onto a small sheltered courtyard with plants which protects it from street noise. It is on the French fourth floor with elevator. The apartment has a small hall with an exposed stone wall, white painted exposed beamed ceilings, oatmeal carpeting and pale butter colour walls. The main room has twin banquettes heaped with pillows which provide seating and that can sleep two children. A tub armchair, a 19th century wooden dining table, a comfortable desk, built in bookcases, and a gilt mirror, paintings and prints complete the decor. The sleeping area features a queen size bed, and closet with carved wooden doors taken from an 18th century armoire.

The bright yellow kitchen has a terra cotta tiled floor, white cabinets and tiles, and big triple windows which overlook the courtyard. Amenities include a stainless steel sink, a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, two electric burners, a microwave, toaster, a coffee maker, and a wooden dining table. The bathroom has dark blue tiled walls, a tub with a wall mounted shower arm, a toilet, a white porcelain sink and floor and a washing machine (no dryer, only a drying rack). The apartment has a telephone, and a cassette/CD player. All linens, dinnerware and pots and pans are provided.
