My husband and I stayed here recently in July 2011, it was most excellent! Totally updated, clean and a beautiful view. I am not a big fan of swimming in lakes and this lake was delightful, no weeds at all! Nearby you can rent a boat or Jetski which was very convenient. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. We will be coming back.

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your vacation home. It was wonderful having all the amenities we are used to having at home. Sitting on the porch or down by the water was very relaxing to all of us. It was very peaceful and quiet, even on the weekend. Thanks for opening up your home for others to use.

Dear Mike & Amber ~ John and I would like to thank you for an absolutely incredible week in your place at the lake! We were extremely impressed with the home and you were right "the best view on the lake!" Our week was filled with great swimming, fishing, boating and more relaxation than we have experienced in years! We never once turned a TV on..... Your home is not your "average" rental - it is beautiful and equipment with wonderful "luxuries" you do not find every day! We can not wait to find the opportunity to rent again; maybe a fall or winter get-away! Thank you for sharing this fabulous place! John & Pam S

Just returned home from our 3 night stay at your home. We had a great time by renting a pontoon for the day, a wave runner for the day, and then I took my boys golfing at the Alpena Golf Club. Also experienced the stomach filling breakfast at the Parker House. Great weather made it a great time along with the lakeside activities that we also enjoyed. Thanks again!

We had a wondeful vacation. We quickly found our relaxed mode and all those activities we enjoy doing while in it. We fished, threw rocks in the water, kayaked, skipped rocks across the water, played wiffle ball and basketball and ate beautiful meals on the patio, told fish stories and watched the beautiful sunsets down by the water or better yet from the kayak. Your home is absolutley beautiful. So tastefully decorated. We totally enjoyed our first vacation together in many, many years.

You have a GREAT home and we enjoyed Long lake quite a bit. We spent most of out time on the lake - but also drove to Sutton's Bay and Mackinac Island. The "Hideway" is quite a local gem along with the wine and cheese store in town. The Fletcher Street Brewery was also quite charming. Thanks so much

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. We had the opportunity to break in our new boat (the launch site is so convenient), and discovered several very productive fishing spots. We caught enough for a fabulous walleye/perch feast and will enjoy several more fish dinners at home. Landing lots of small mouth bass was a blast as well. We also had great fun hunting for a fine selection of Petosky stones, swimming, tubing, and eating great steak/burger/beer across the lake at the lake marina restaurant. The weather/sunsets were perfect;no need to venture far from the lake, but a quick trip to Rogers City for smoked fish and sausage as well to Presque Isle to see the lighthouses, was well worth the 30 minute drive. Your home is lovely: very relaxed, inviting, and comfortable. Everything was at our fingertips. We hope to return again.

Our family had a great time vacationing in your home. We prepared some great meals in your kitchen and enjoyed the view of the lake very much. Some of our highlights were visiting the local Presque Isle Lighthouses and swimming in Ocqueoc Falls. We felt right at home and hope to visit again soon.

we'll be back next year! Your place was wonderful and better than expected. Perfect spot on the water. From pontoon boating, to the new bar across the lake listening to acoustic music, meeting the friendly locals, sandbar and travelling to town. Meals at JJ's and breakfast at the Parker House. Thanks for the pleasant stay. See you same time next year.
