"Ducking Responsibility" is a fun and relaxing place for you and your family. Set work and other responsibilities aside and come to Duck for a wonderful vacation in this lovely home located in the quiet community of Schooner Ridge.
Relax in the Hot Tub and Private Heated Pool after a full day of activities. Nicely decorated, large rooms, and only about a 10 minute walk to the private beach. Also enjoy the community facilities that include three community pools - one outdoor at the clubhouse, one indoor at the clubhouse, and one outdoor on the oceanfront. There is also tennis courts, a children's playground, clubhouse with exercise equipment, video games, pool table, High speed Internet, and a racquetball court. The community center is a 2-minute walk from the house.
The open floor plan of our home has two bedrooms on each side of the house (one with a queen and one with two twins) with a bathroom in between, perfect for two families! Loft area is the perfect getaway to watch our NEW HD TV with expanded HD Cable, play Wii with Guitar Hero III(Nintendo's new game console), play with games/puzzles at the game table, or just relax! There is also a screened porch with chairs and a table. The decks (one one main level, one by loft) also has tables, chairs, lounge chairs, and a hot tub. Beach chairs and beach toys are also available.

Our home is centrally located within walking distance to the Ocean and the Village of Duck. The Village of Duck is family oriented with a number of outdoor activities.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house has a Private Heated Pool, Hot Tub and plenty of indoor activities for adults and kids. We really like the loft area with the new 46" High Definition T.V., Nintendo Wii with Guitar Hero, Mario Cart, Dance Dance Revolution and more. There are also plenty of Board Games, Puzzles and a Huge Video library. Wireless internet is also included, so you can work or just surf the internet.
In the community center, a short walk from the house, there is an Indoor & Outdoor Pool, Game Room, Workout Area, and Tennis & Racquet Ball Courts

My family and I live in Aurora,Colorado. We visited the Outer Banks for the first time in 2002
and fell in love with the area. We can't wait to get back to the beach. It's a fun area to visit.

We had a great time - 1st week 2 of our children and thier families were with us and the 2nd week the other two of our children and families were here. All the grandkids ranging in ages from 4yrs to 19yrs really enjoyed the beach, pool, hot tub and rec room. You have a lovely summer house in a location that I love. Hope to get back in a couple of years. Thanks for sharing.

"Thank you so much for letting us use your lovely house, we had a great time. This was our 1st time to the Outer Banks and your home helped to make it a great trip! Maggie, our 3 1/2 year old, loved the pool. She also thought she died and gone to heaven when she could watch movies from her bedroom. Molly, our 14 month, loved being able to play upstairs or at least Mommy loved that she could play upstairs. Ha Ha !! This was a great house to stay in for our 1st trip to Outer Banks." My four Sisters and I have really enjoyed our stay in Duck. We go every year on vacation together. This has been a memory we won't ever forget. We loved the house and the location was perfect.
