North Unit Living Room - Encinitas, California Vacation Rental The Blue Sky Beach House North is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom vacation rental, the north side of a duplex. (See also VRBO listing #93538, the Blue Sky Beach House South, which has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, and sleeps up to five guests. These units can be combined to sleep up to eight guests!) The Blue Sky Beach House is fully furnished and has been recently renovated and remodeled. Each unit has a private patio which gets afternoon shade, a private garden entrance, and a sunny, semi-private deck area with a gas grill and outdoor shower. Beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards are provided. There is new carpet and tile throughout both units. The Blue Sky Beach House is in a quiet, residential neighborhood on Neptune Avenue, the bluff frontage road in Leucadia, on the side of the street opposite the ocean. From the property, you can hear the ocean surf all night long, because you are only a couple hundred feet from the bluff. If you walk a few minutes to the south you arrive at the popular Moonlight beach; an equally short walk to the north takes you to Stone Steps, a secluded, beautiful neighborhood beach. Neptune Avenue itself is extraordinary-it boasts some the most interesting houses in San Diego County, and it provides a flat, two mile stretch of street and sidewalk with frequent beach accesses for the morning run and evening stroll. All of our guests have loved this property! This is one of the premier vacation locations along the California coast, about 10 minutes from the Del Mar races. Encinitas is 'the' classic California beach town, one of the few places along the coast that still has the feel of the world the Beach Boys sung about. Encinitas has an unbroken, two and a half mile strand of natural beach bordered by sandy bluffs. There are numerous restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and an "art house" theatre in the downtown area, which is three blocks from the property.
