Year Purchased: 2005
Iam a native New Yorker whose parents migrated to the U.S. from their native Puerto Rico when they married in 1948. We traveled to Puerto Rico every Christmas holiday when I was young and lived its culture and traditions during this very festive time. We continue this practice today. I just love the sand and the sun and visiting with my family. This location is ideal for my husband and I. We decided we were going to share this lovely home so you too can come with your family and friends and enjoy all it has to offer. Hope to hear from you soon.
Why the Owner Chose Vega Baja
We chose to buy in this location because of its close proximity to the shore. We have ocean views on one side, mountain views on another side and a large terrace to enjoy them and the refreshing ocean breeze. Vega Baja is also where my parents were born and where they were laid to rest. My paternal and maternal family reside within minutes of our home so we can all visit often. My husband's family also live an hour away, in Aguadilla and Aguada. We are also within minutes of the expressway #22 for sightseeing trips, nearby shopping at one of many malls or the Outlets in Barceloneta ,or for a night out.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There is so much to do at this location. This is a resort like complex with our own private beach, a natural resource because of its beautiful coral reefs. There are beaches galore (each with its own activities) being that we're located on the beach strip. The Fitness room, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts help us stay in shape. If we want to cool off, we just jump into one of our 2 pools. Come evening time, we can decide if we want to spend a quiet night at home counting the stars from our terrace or head out to the bustling night life at El Condado, a 20 min. short drive away.
