This one bedroom/loft unit is located in the Village at Northstar. It is in the center of all the action - steps from the Gondola, the skating rink and all the shops and restaurants. There is no need to ever wait for a shuttle. You are staying right in the Village! Pull into your reserved, covered parking space and take the elevator up to your unit. You may not need your car again during your stay - almost everything is within walking distance (the Gondola, the restaurants, the ice-skating rink, the rec center, etc.) While skiing, going home for lunch couldn't be easier.
The unit easily sleeps six. There are two queen beds in the loft bedroom and a pull-out queen bed inside the living room sofa. There is a gas fireplace, cable TV, free high-speed internet connection, DVD/VCR player and a stereo. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The balcony has a Barbeque and chairs to sit and people watch. There is now a stacked full-size washer and dryer in the kitchen.
This rental includes access to the Northstar Recreation Center. It is only a five minute walk across the parking lot. The fitness center has aerobic machines, weight machines and free weights. There is a small daily fee to use the rec center.
The Rec Center also has three outdoor hot tub spas, a main pool, a year-round lap pool and a kiddie pool. The youth center has video games, pool tables, ping pong, a movie room, vending machines and more. The Tennis Center is rated one of the top 25 tennis camps in the U.S. Check out the scheduled lessons and social events!
In the winter, Northstar offers amazing skiing for all ability levels. In addition, there is a Terrain Park and a Super Pipe for snowboarder's. There is even a snow-tubing park. Northstar’s kids and family programs are often ranked among the Best in the Country by USA Today and Ski Magazine. There are private and group lessons for children. The resort also offers licensed childcare for children ages 2-6.
During the summer, the resort offers an 18-hole golf course, a mountain bike park serviced by two high-speed quad chairs, tennis, horseback riding, hiking and fly fishing. The Lake Tahoe area is full of fun during the summer. The Fourth of July celebration boasts the largest synchronized fireworks display west of the Mississippi.

- Our condo is about 100 yards from the Gondola. You don't need to drive or wait for a shuttle to go skiing or ice skating or go to the rec center. The ice rink is also about 100-200 yards away.

Spent a week in this immaculate and fully stocked 1 bdrm unit. GREAT LOCATION and within walking distance to everything!!! Unit has all the comforts of home and will comfortably sleep 6 adults. This is a great value and you cannot beat the location! Why spend all the time and money getting to the lifts when you can sleep in and have a 5 minute walk to the lifts? Great for families, couples and anyone who want to be close to the action.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
