The condo was as described - updated, with everything one needs for a stay, including comfortable beds, towels, and a VERY short walk to the beach. Very clean when we arrived and local contact person responded immediately when we asked about the Wifi password. Condo is on the 3rd floor and it was no problem for us and our 4 and 2 year olds; the neighbors underneath us did complain about our walking around (in a very nice manner though). Based on the description I would have thought the balcony furniture would have been more comfortable but at the end we didn't really want to sit outside anyway because of the noise from all of the 50+ AC units from this and the neighboring condos that were going 24/7. The owners were very easy to rent from. Overall we had a fantastic stay in a family oriented place and would highly recommend this beachfront property condo!

Just to let everyone know, your review was for our Orange Beach units at Romar Beach Condos: RB303, NOT FOR LH1209 WHERE WE HAVE FABULOUS BALCONY FURNITURE. At RB303, we still have some of the original balcony furniture there which probably will get upgraded after this summer. During the hot months, AC units can make a racket, but we always find that with RB303 and RB201, the sound of the surf crashing on the beach always overrides the obnoxious noize of AC units! We had a wonderful time during our stay! The property was excellent! Fast and easy access to elevators...awesome pools...easy beach access....bathrooms right near the pools so you don't have to track back up to your room with kids in tow! There was plenty of parking even on Memorial Day weekend! We did not hear a peep of noise outside...Only the ocean! The bedroom and living room open up to the fantastic balcony with plenty of seating. There were luggage carts and such lined up everywhere which made loading and unloading luggage and groceries a breeze. The unit itself was nicely decorated and comfortable. We did have an issue with the jacuzzi tub but we were offered a free night's stay for the trouble which really wasn't a huge deal...more of an inconvenience because we had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. The owners are very attentive to your needs and helpful in answering any questions you may have. We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed watching the dolphins play in the surf in the morning and a pod of sting rays cruising by one day!

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The condo was awesome! The kitchen was extremely well equipped. There was a coffee pot for my husband and even a teapot for me! It was nice to make a couple meals there and sit out on the very large deck to enjoy the weather and great views while eating a meal. Check in and out was a breeze and the owner shared very good information to help make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the beach and spent lots of time on it during our stay! While it was our first trip to to the Gulf Coast, I'm certain it won't be our last!

Staying at the Lighthouse during the Shrimp Festival

We had a great experience staying at the Lighthouse during our first trip to Gulf Shores. Our condo was very centrally located among all the activities and restaurants but was also right on the beach. Everything about the condo was great from cleanliness to every convenience; we even had beach umbrellas and rafts! Pam, the owner, made it super easy to check in and out and parking was right close to the elevator with access to moving carts for bags and groceries. The view from the deck was outstanding as it was so private it saw only the beach and sea. Eat at the Sea n Suds for great oyster sandwiches and also Cosmo's, Steamers, Cobalt's, and Nolans had great food. We are looking forward to a return trip.

We had a great time on our trip to Gulf Shores - we saw so many dolphins and the condo was perfect for our family of four! The full size washer and dryer inside the condo along with two bathrooms makes your inside time much easier! Pam on the Beach was quick to respond and easy to work with - will definitely use her again!

My recent stay in unit 1209 was just great. The unit was very clean and "Pam on the Beach" was very good about getting back to me in a very timely manner every time I sent an e-mail. I loved the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking for an enjoyable vacation. As soon as I can get back to Gulf Shores I will definately come back here.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. This place is awesome!!! The downfall was that I had to spend the first 4 hours cleaning because the entire place was filthy. But once I cleaned we were able to enjoy ourselves and this beautiful condo. We had a very pleasant experience with the owners. They were great from beginning to the end. Checking in and out was awesome! We would Love to stay again under better circumstances. I would have rated this stay excellent, but do to the uncleanliness I say it's fair. Thank you!

Girl's trip to the beach was awesome!! The condo was better than we had even imagined. Everything from making reservations to checking out was a breeze! There was a full moon during our stay and the view from the balcony was breath-taking!!! I will definitely recommend Pam on the Beach to all my friends and family. I can't wait to stay there again!!

Wonderful few days!!

This was our first time renting a condo, and I have to say it was wonderful!! We will definitely be coming back! The condo itself is very nice - we brought our 1 year old son, and the small bedroom was perfect to accommodate his pack n play. Pam is not joking about the balcony - it's HUGE! We loved cooking breakfast and eating at the bistro table! Since we had no experience renting a condo, I had no idea we were supposed to supply clothing and dish detergent, toilet paper, trash bags, ect. When I called the local housekeeping person, she explained everything and was very sweet! We were able to enjoy the last week with no stress, just laying on the beach and playing with our son in the pool :-) I would highly recommend this property!! Thanks Pam!!

The 126019 at the Lighthouse was wonderful! It was perfect for the long overdue girl trip we needed. The condo was clean and was well equiped. Beautifully decorated, pools and hot tubs where great as well. The balcony was great in the morning, middle of the day, at sunset, or late at night. I have and will recommend this property and will be trying to rent it again in May and September. Security was on the property which made us feel safe. The owners where great and very helpful with recommending restaurants and nearby activities. Making the reservation was easy. All around great experience and trip. We arrived on 3/23/12 and stayed until 3/31/12 and enjoyed the entire stay.

Awesome vacation, great weather, food, kids activities. The elevator traffic is annoying, primarily because the stairs are impossible to find.

The Lighthouse has 3 banks of elevators...ours is smack dab in the middle with an elevator on either side...and the good news is that LH1209, our condo, is the first condo out of the elevator to the left/east side! We agree during busy holiday weekends and spring break, the elevator action can be a bit busy...remember LH is a high rise with a lot of units.

Waking up every morning on this 12 floor balcony and having a cup of java and watching the dolphins play while you relax is just heaven! You can stay in and just chill or go downstairs and enjoy the fantastic facilities of 2 outdoor pools or 2 heated jacuzzi's or even a sauna, or you can even use the well equipped workout room. Covered parking with on-site security personnel and friendly staff make this one of the most sought after properties in Gulf Shores. We will be back! Pam, thank you for your most gracious hospitality!

Just returned from our 6 night stay. Our family had an absolutely wonderful time. The beach was great and the pool was too!!!! The condo is even better than Pam describes. We will be back. My husband and I could have stayed forever! I hope everyone will ignore the media and head on down to the Gulf. I've never seen the crowd so low. Never waited to eat anywhere, and that's a first.

We had a great vacation in Gulf Shores again. We loved this condo. The wireless was great and we never had any problems with it. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean and quiet. We went on our first dolphin tour with Cold Mil Fleet and had a great time. Would definately do it again. I would highly reccomend this condo for your next visit to Gulf Shores.

I took my daughter to the property October 09 for her 16th birthday. We had an incredible time the view is wonderful and the beds are super cozy! Pam is a doll and was good to us!!!! Would stay again in a heart beat!!! I would also mention that my daughter has a developmental disability and the room was very easy for her to get around in and the property was as well!!!

Pam, The stay at your condo was just what we all needed, especially me! It is so beautifully decorated. The floor-to-ceiling sliding doors made it seem like you are standing right on the ocean. The comfortable bed and couch made it easy for me to want to spend time in the room when it got too hot outside! I especially loved the huge balcony. I hope to return again next year. Thanks! All I can say is WOW!!! This condo is by far the best I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. The view was simply incredible and it felt like home. The furniture, the layout, the decor, was perfect. Our stay was wonderful! The condo was beyond our expectations! The decor was beautiful and the ocean view was fantastic! Pam was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and booking of the condo, that it required very little effort on our part, other than to enjoy the beach! The cost of the condo rental was less than hotels and far more luxurious.. I look forward to staying there again.

This condo is very comfortable and home-like, we felt right at home here. We loved the huge bed, the comfy sofa, and the view from the cozy balcony (we even napped on the lounge chair while listening to the waves from the balcony). We will definitely be back. This was our greatest experience at the beach.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Lighthouse. Everything was clean and well maintained, tastfully decorated. The view from the balcony was perfect where we watched pelicans and seagulls pass at eye level and dolphins play in the ocean.The pools were great as were the hot tubs. The king size bed was so inviting with the plush, soft pillows and we love to listen to the ocean waves at night from the bedroom. We would definitely love to go there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed are first trip to Gulf Shores. And your condo added to the home away from home feel. It had everything we needed, situated right by all the beach attractions yet still far enough down the East Beach Blvd. And a great view of the beach to top it all off. Perfect! We will be back next year.

We experienced beautiful ocean views from the living area and bedroom in this cozy condo perfect for two! The resort is new and everything is fresh and clean. We enjoyed having access to a covered garage that kept our leather car seats cool in the hot weather. The location is easy to find and convenient to restaurants and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay in your condo (without our kids!). We were able to relax and take in the beautiful weather that we had while we were there. Your condo was awesome. I loved the decor both inside and on the balcony. My husband and I loved the pillows! Where did they come from? I would definately recommend this room to anyone and I myself look forward to hopefully returning again someday!
