Restored 17th Century Farmhouse in Valley Hamlet

Our farmhouse, located in the Valley Hamlet of Les Alazards at the foot of Mont Ventoux, is simply and cleanly restored and full of light. It has exposed stone, Moroccan tiles, and high ceilings with exposed beams. Both the small and large terraces offer views of time-preserved Provencal Valley with grape vines, cherry and apricot orchards with a backdrop of limestone and oak hills.
The GR4 path to the Mont Ventoux summit passes the courtyard gate. The graveled courtyard is walled in ancient stone. A short drive to excellent restaurants, galleries, Roman sights, boulangeries, and the markets of Vaison-la-Romaine and other local villages. Acclaimed local wines, and Gigondas and Chateauneuf-du-Pape are 30 and 45 minutes' drive, respectively.
The house has three main bedrooms (sleeps 6) and a large, fully equipped eat-in-kitchen (though we often dine on the terrace upstairs) and one and a half baths. Two twin convertible sofa beds in the living room are suitable for children. In addition, a detached unit ('Gite'), with an entry on the courtyard and one private entry, offers two floors of living space, full kitchen below, sleeping quarters above (sleeps three) and a full bath. The Gite may be rented in addition to or separately from the house.
Pets and children may be considered. Please contact us to discuss your needs. Check out the link to more photos below (under 'Rate Details.')
