Enjoy luxurious comfort at Hunters Cove on the mountain in charming Steamboat Springs! This 4,600 sq ft home is beautifully appointed and professionally decorated. Located just 1 mile(or a free 10 minute bus ride)from the gondola, Hunters Cove offers the benefits of being adjacent to the ski area while located in a tranquil neighborhood. You’ll love the breath-taking mountain views from the two-story windows that stretch across the front of the house bringing the beauty of the Rockies into this home’s vast living area.

This home offers has 5 spacious bedrooms (including 1 large bunkroom with 4 bunk beds), and can sleep 16 in beds. In addition to the bunkroom, there are 2 master suites with king beds and 2 guest bedrooms with queen beds, all with large walk-in closets, TV/DVD/cable and private bathrooms with jetted tubs. There are three living areas to accomodate individual privacy or separate group gatherings (great for adults and teens!) There is a main floor family room, a lower level recreation room and an upstairs loft sitting area. A private six-person hot tub is located directly outside the living room on the spacious wrap-around deck with beautiful views of Mt. Werner.

You may enter the home via the upper driveway into the foyer that opens onto a large great room with two story windows facing the mountain offering spectacular views. Or you may choose to enter the home via the large lower driveway using the entry door for the walk-out level or the 3 car garage with coded entry.

Upstairs you will enter an immense living room with a gas fireplace, large-screen TV/DVD/cable/stereo and substantial seating. Also within the main floor great room area is a 12-person dining area and a gourmet kitchen with 3 sinks, 2 refrigerators, butlers pantry and wet bar....all within sight of the stunning wall of windows overlooking the mountains. Past the kitchen you will find the laundry room, powder room and the bunk bed room with 4 bunks. Opposite the bunk room (on the other side of the great room) is the main floor master bedroom with all the amenities and decorator appointments.

Upstairs is a lovely sitting area with another wet bar and wi-fi computer/printer station in the loft area which also enjoys the mountain views. The second master bedroom suite is directly off the loft and is exceptionally appointed and includes features such as a 32" flat screen hd tv with DVD/cable, huge Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and powder room. Palladium windows make up the end walls of this suite and offer stunning aerial views of the surrounding scenery.

The lower level is a walkout with entry via the lower foyer or the coded garage doors. There is a multi-purpose recreation room with a 50" flat screen TV and DVD/cable. There is also a gas fireplace, large sectional seating, dining/card table and wet bar. Both lower level bedrooms are spacious with queen beds, private bathrooms, jetted tubs and exceptionally large walk-in closets.

Hunters Cove is less than 1 mile (and a free ten minute bus ride)from the gondola.   • I can't say enough good things about renting this house! Susan, the owner, was extremely helpful prior to our trip, answering all our questions and providing suggestions about how to manage our trip and what to do in Steamboat. Once there, we found the house to be everything we could have wanted. Very spacious - even with 4 families including 8 kids total, there was plenty of room. Everything was in great condition and well-stocked and there were plenty of little touches that made us feel completely at home. The house is very convenient, too -- we didn't use the shuttle, but the short drive made it easy to get everyone to and from the slopes. We would come back to this house again in an instant -- my kids are ready to move there now!

  • From beginning to the end, this house rental was an enjoyable experience. The owner was extremely accommodating and the house is spectacular. Our softball team stayed at this home and we were all very pleased with the arrnagement. The house was fully stocked and we were able to make some gourmet meals in the spectacular kitchen. There was plenty of room for the 15 people who stayed in the home. We would definitely rent this home again.

Great floorplan and decor. The view out of the large family room window is breathtaking. We would HIGHLY recommend renting this home - Great for large groups and close to slopes.

  • We had 3 families (13 people) to rent this house for the week of 2/3/2008 - 2/10/2008. This house was very nice and plenty of space for our group. Everything you need is provided. I have never stayed anywhere that provided as much as this place. The location is close to the slopes and in a nice area. We would highly recommend renting this house. We hope to stay in it again.
