Pictues really don't due this home justice. Short 4-5 minutes drive to gondola. The bunk bed area was a big hit with the 9 kids with us. 3 families and we didn't use one of the bedrooms. All bedrooms have there own bathrooms. Very nice finishes. Well laid out. Great home!!!! Would go back and stay in same place in a heart beat.

Our experience in renting vacation homes spans over 20 years....but this house had it all. The house was exactly as described....the view was spectacular and Steamboat Springs had so many activities that our family kept busy for the entire 10 days! Would love to visit again!

I highly recommend this VRBO listing! My family of ten - 4 small children and 6 adults - spent a week in this amazing home. There was plenty of room in the public areas for all of us to lounge and relax while the bedrooms were large and comfy. Three sinks (yes!) and two refrigerators in the kitchen made meal prep and cleanup a snap. The large dining table accommodated all of us and there was another table available that we didn't use. We also dined alfresco on the east-facing deck while the kids had a picnic in the front yard. The house was clean & very well maintained, the property manager was very responsive and it was a pleasure working with the owner. Everything was as advertised, but even better! Cycling to town on the bike paths was easy and fun - an added bonus is that you have to walk your bikes through the (free) Yampa Botanic Gardens on one leg of the trip. A quick drive to the resort center, grocery store or downtown made this a great location.

We absolutely fell in love with the house -- everything from the floor plan to the furnishings to the little extras was PERFECT. My sister-in-law and I have both done quite a bit of interior design work over the past 12 years, and we were thrilled to see that someone had some taste! How rare in a vacation rental! My brother was so enamored that I thought for sure he would call to make an offer on the place. It's obvious that it's been treated with love and care. I was even comfortable on one of the wooden bunks! Anyway, this home made all the difference -- we had a perfect family weekend and we'll be back! My sister is a long-time resident and had no idea that such a lovely place existed in that neighborhood.

We have had a family trip every year for 12 years. We visit various resorts around the US and Canada and have experienced many different accommodations. This house is by far our favorite. The views are amazing – the pictures on the website cannot do it justice. The location is convenient to everything: skiing, downtown dining, etc. Thank you Susan and Laurie for making these accommodations so easy.

My research group stayed here over Martin Luther King weekend. The house is beautiful and incredibly spacious. You have a great view of the mountain out the giant front windows as well as from the hot tub. Also, the large heated garage is perfect for storing ski gear. There is also ample room for parking in the two driveways. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone, especially a large family. Most importantly Susan is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

This is one of the best vacation rental homes we have ever stayed in! The house is beautiful decorated and very comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could want down to hand lotion at every sink. We had a wonderful time cooking in the super kitchen. It was a perfect spot for our family get together.

The house is beautiful, very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owner has provided alot of extras that you don't normally find in a vacation rental. The owner is very helpful and provided tons of information about things to do, restaurants and activities. The location was very convenient. Close to town, and only a few minutes to 2 grocery stores. You feel close to everything, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Our group of 16 was quite comfortable. The kids loved the downstairs rec room, and the loft was a nice bonus area to read a book and enjoy the view. The bedrooms were great-each with a private bath. Even with 16 people, you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. Steamboat was great in the summer--lots to do and see. We had a fantastic time. We'll definitely be back!

We had the privilege of spending a week at this location in Steamboat Springs and were completely stunned when we arrived. The bedrooms were not only huge but beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you would need or want for a vacation. The kitchen really stood out to us as it had tons of space and again was perfectly equipped right down to the muffin tins (It has three sinks and garbage disposals!)! It was the perfect setting for our family reunion and the location was breath-taking with beautiful mountains, lovely valleys, and gorgeous homes all around us! We had a houseful but it seriously didn't feel crowded even one time. Oh, and my father-in-law is a paraplegic and was fine getting around there in his wheelchair, something that was important to us. Basically, this was a dream vacation home for us. And the best thing about it was that the realtor/owner made everything so easy - answered all our questions, even while we were there - also arranged to send something to us that we had left there!

Susan, I wanted to let you know what a wonderful family gathering we had at your lovely home. The kids loved the bunkroom and all the adults thought the bedrooms with their own baths was perfect. We had lots of room and it never seemed like anyone was on top of each other. We were able to find everything we needed in the kitchen and we cooked in every night with lots of room for everyone to help prepare the meals. Thank you so much for adding to our family gathering and we hope to return to Steamboat again. Corky and Grant Layfayette, CO

"DREAM SKI VACATION FOR LARGE FAMILY" from Cheryl S. from Grosse Pointe, MI This lovely mountain view home accomodated our large extended family very comfortably. Everyone loved the convenient hot tub off the living room (and we were glad not to have to go through someone's bedroom as is often the case). The very large and well-equipped kitchen with big island and counter seating worked well for multiple cooks at the same time. The separate large butler pantry with sink and extra fridge was a great bar/coffee area. We seated 10 adults comfortably around the extended dining room table. It was great to have the rec room with 2nd large-screen TV downstairs for the kids to play and to leave the Wii we brought set up. Very good beds and linens and the house was very clean. Owner and onsite property manager were both nice, helpful, and everything went smoothly from first inquiry to check-out. Exceptional rental opportunity. THANKS AGAIN, CHERYL

Write a review perfect, December 29, 2009 By Julie Kozma (Ann Arbor, MI) This was a perfect space for a gathering of my immediate family, my Mom, 3 siblings and their families (15 in all). We had a great time and really enjoyed the grand kitchen/main living room. We also enjoyed being able to spread out. The house was immaculate and very well equipped. We would definitely stay here again!!!

I can't say enough good things about renting this house! Susan, the owner, was extremely helpful prior to our trip, answering all our questions and providing suggestions about how to manage our trip and what to do in Steamboat. Once there, we found the house to be everything we could have wanted. Very spacious - even with 4 families including 8 kids total, there was plenty of room. Everything was in great condition and well-stocked and there were plenty of little touches that made us feel completely at home. The house is very convenient, too -- we didn't use the shuttle, but the short drive made it easy to get everyone to and from the slopes. We would come back to this house again in an instant -- my kids are ready to move there now!

Dear Susan, I just thought I'd let you know we all thought your house was wonderful and skiing Steamboat was a great experience. We've been doing this for over 10 yrs now and I think we all agreed that Steamboat and your house was the best experience we've had. The fact that we got so much snow was a bonus as well. I'm sure we'll return to Steamboat in the next couple of years, if we do I'll make sure you're our first choice, Many thanks, TC

From beginning to the end, this house rental was an enjoyable experience. The owner was extremely accommodating and the house is spectacular. Our softball team stayed at this home and we were all very pleased with the arrnagement. The house was fully stocked and we were able to make some gourmet meals in the spectacular kitchen. There was plenty of room for the 15 people who stayed in the home. We would definitely rent this home again.

Our stay at the house was wonderful. The accessibility to the ski slopes was wonderful (early on the pick up route) and all the literature about Steamboat that was around the house helped show us a good time. I would come back to this house again if I were to visit Steamboat again.

We had 3 families (13 people) to rent this house for the week of 2/3/2008 - 2/10/2008. This house was very nice and plenty of space for our group. Everything you need is provided. I have never stayed anywhere that provided as much as this place. The location is close to the slopes and in a nice area. We would highly recommend renting this house. We hope to stay in it again.

"We had a lovely time at your house this summer. It was beautiful, and we found everything to be in excellent condition. We used all the local information you provided, which was invaluable as we didn't know the area at all. I don't think we lacked for anything, and used the kitchen extensively, as well as the hot tub. We'd love to come again, maybe in the ski season! Communication and booking was very smooth." Katherine
