This charming first floor condominium is located in the Las Palmas Condos on the Western side of Gulf Shores just across West Beach Boulevard from the beach. The western end of Gulf Shores is much less congested with only two lanes of traffic instead of four/five lanes as the case on the eastern end toward Orange Beach. Also makes for great bike riding and walking along the bike lane. Beach access is only steps away.
Professionally decorated by the owner, with LOTS of NEW furnishings, you would think you were in a Cottage/Southern Living Magazine article--since the owner has had many publications in the magazine.
Sleeps four comfortably and allows for two more on the pull-out sofa/bed. Two full baths and a fully furnished kitchen with all modern appliances for a romantic dinner for two out on the balcony with a water view or a table that seats six for a family dinner. Tables are also available around the pool or in the barbecue area when the weather is just too beautiful to eat indoors.
The triangle shaped structure allows all condominiums a view of the pools which are located in the middle of the three, two-story buildings with two-car parking underneath each unit. Two pools ensure a perfect spot for sunbathing either close to or far away from children!! Great for families with small children that can't stay on the beach all day long.
For your convenience, laundry rooms with coin operated machines are located on both floors. Boat/trailer parking is permitted at the east end of the property.

Why the Owner Chose Las Palmas
As young parents, we vacationed with our friends and their children in their family condo and loved it. We always jumped at the chance to go to the beach with anybody who's parents had a place. But Las Palmas was always our favorite. So when our parents were considering a second home, of course we talked them into buying a condo there too. Now that we are grandparents ourselves, we just couldn't cram any more people into that little 2 bedroom condo, so we bit the bullet and bought our own. Since 1983 - we have called Las Palmas "HOME"
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The beachfront condos sound good, but you just can't seem to get away from the sand. And sand makes a HORRIBLE bed buddy. So we always loved the fact that we were just steps across the two lane road. Just enough steps to walk that sand off. We always loved the pool area too.
The little mom & pop store that has been a staple on the west end of the beach since 1978. If you need more suntan lotion, ice, milk, cereal, towels an onion, just about anything you might run out of so you won't have to go back to Walmart!!!
Need I say more!! The Hang Out is the place to be for the beach concerts, food, fun......The Hang Out!!
Jimmy Buffet's little sister's place. Another great place for food and family fun. Even in the rain, kids can play in the huge sand box while you sit and watch the boats and barges passing by in the Canal.
Just across the canal from LuLu's is another great place to eat, drink and be merry!!!
One of my family's personal favorite places to eat. All you can eat shrimp to die for. And the fried oysters.......oh my my. The prices are great. Won't break the bank for the whole family to eat here.
Right on the beach!! Beautiful view, great margaritas and you have to get the pecan crusted fish of the day. To DIE for!! The house dressing is pretty darn good too!!!

My family and I stayed for a weekend at this location and enjoyed it to pieces. The property was near all the sites and away from the crowds. The beach access was wonderful and afforded you the opportunity to enjoy the coast and hunt for shells. I would recommend this property to any small family planning a short gettaway.

Very nice clean condo and usable for the two of us. Kitchen had full amenities. Beach was convenient -- just a short walk across the street. King bed in master was very comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

We had a great time here! When we made the reservation, we had two boys and had started the stages of adoption for a little girl. We thought it would take over a year. It didn't! AND we adopted 2 girls (sisters) 2 weeks prior to vacation. I called the owners and explained that we had 6 now and she gave me more info on the sleeper sofa. Ours boys loved sleeping in the Living Room to watch TV and the girls slept great in their room. Our King bed was very comfortable as well! It was a great vacation and bonding for our family. The little "extras" at the condo made it feel more like a home than a rented place. Thanks!

We just returned from our stay at your condo and we all had a great time minus the rain. Your condo was as described; very nice, clean, comfortable and stocked well with everything we needed. The pools were well maintained and clean and the kids really enjoyed while not at the beach. We had such a great time and we would recommend to anyone.

The condo was just as described. Beautifully decorated, Charming, great location. Very clean, has all the amenities you could need. We could not have been more pleased. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay stop looking. I will definatley be staying here again on our next trip to Gulf Shores.

My family and I just returned from our wonderful vacation in your beautifully decorated condo. I thought I was looking at a picture in a magazine when we walked in. It was soooo nice, and the furnishings were so comfortable. We had our 2 grandchildren with us, and it was so easy to get down to the pool with everything that accompanies children. We loved it. Everything was so close, restaurants, the grocery, shops, etc. Thank you for providing such a warm and comfortable place to enjoy the beach. And that also was beautiful. I'm so glad we went. Thanks again, we'll look forward to the next time.

We do appreciate you giving us such a generous deal. (Rent 3 Get 1 Night Free) We were planning on going down regardless of the oil situation (unless they closed the beach from just sitting on the beach) as we don't go to play in the water anyway. We can always jump in the pool! We've been coming to Gulf Shores for almost 25 years. So it is our second home. The condo is great and my wife and mother-in-law really like the way you have it decorated! Again, thanks for your hospitality in allowing us to rent your condo.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just the right size for myself and wife and her mother. The unit is neatly decorated. The beds are very comfortable (no rolling to the middle when two are in the bed!) The shower heads are great too. There is easy access to the beach. When not on the beach we spent a lot of time on the deck just watching all the traffic and people go by. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone interested in a great value. Even thought across the street from the beach, it is easy to get over and get on the beach. I've had much longer walks to get on the beach from units that were on the beach. 4 adults would be the max to comfortably stay. My only wish was a washer/dryer, but it really is not a problem for short stays as ours (4 days). The owner is very gracious in working with you. Also, available with cell phone or emails.

I agree with you that a washer and dryer would be nice in the unit but the cons out weigh the pros. It heats up the units so much in the summertime is one of the cons. Our visit was extremely exceptional. The condo is very well decorated and has great atmosphere. The pools were perfectly clean and well maintained. It is in a wonderful location with easy access to the beach. For the rate, I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in Gluf Shores.
