Our well appointed, vibrantly hued, home is only steps from the private pool and the sugar-white sandy beaches of the Gulf coast. Located just off the heart of Gulf Shores on West Beach, we are uniquely positioned for both uncrowded beaches AND easy access to all Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach has to offer. Shopping, dining, entertainment, grocery, and more are within 2 miles. WatersEdge is truly the perfect location for both relaxation and adventure.

For the 2008 season, WatersEdge was completely and professionally redecorated. You will enjoy the custom bedding and window treatments, 450+ TC sheeting, turkish towels, tasteful new furniture, and many other wonderful touches making your stay more luxurious than ever.

Rest and tranquility are yours in our non-smoking home featuring 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Two bedrooms are located downstairs. One is a master with King-sized bed while the other features a Queen-sized bed. Upstairs hosts 3 more spacious bedrooms. Two are masters with King-sized beds and one is a bunk room. Our bunk room hosts a twin-over-twin and a custom full-over-queen. The latter was built with adults in mind and is appropriate for both adults and/or kids. The two first floor bedrooms each share an adjoining bath, as do two of the three upstairs bedrooms. The third upstairs bedroom is a King and also features a large private bath and private balcony overlooking the Gulf. A Queen sleeper sofa, in the living area, provides additional sleeping flexibility. All five bedrooms are equipped with a TV for your comfort. The living room boasts a 42" flat panel TV, DVD and VCR to ensure movie/game night is a hit! Enjoy the stereo - or bring your Ipod for the docking station and enjoy your own custom musical selections. For those times you need to be in touch with the outside world, WiFi is available for your use.

Your fully equipped kitchen, with eat-in bar, flows into the sunny dining area and then on to your open living area. This large public space allows socializing and togetherness for the entire group. The custom dining table accomodates 10, with 4 more seats at the breakfast bar, making dining together a refreshing reality. Off the living area, your deck overlooks the large private pool shared only with your neighbor. Watch the kids from here during the day or join them - just one flight below - on your spacious poolside deck. From either vantage point, the panoramic views are unforgettable. Sunrise and sunset are not to be missed!

Extending beyond the edge of your pool is a ribbon of white sand bordering the blue waters of the Gulf. For your convenience, we have an outdoor shower just off the beach as you enter the pool.

We have amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas, and assorted pool/beach toys for use during your stay. For small children we have a pack-n-play, booster seat, high-chair - fewer things for you to pack. Older kids will enjoy the XBOX, board games, videos and books.

  • This was our families frist visit to Alabama. It was wonderful. The house at Watersedge was perfect. It has everything you need. It is just steps away from the beach. The pool really was nice for when we were taking a break from the beach. There are stores in walking distance, if you like to walk. We plan on making this trip again. The house has a great deal of room, the the master bed room up stairs has a view to die for. Thanks to Watersedge and MS.Mary fro a great vacation. Patti

  • We had a fabulous time at Gulf Shores last week in your condo. The furnishings are very nice and we have already booked the condo for next summer. I highly recommend this property as a great place to stay in Gulf Shores.

Our extended family had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed the week. The bunk room is perfect for teenagers and young adults or even a family with young children. The upstairs master with private deck was perfect for older parents who loved the view without the sand! The pool was clean and the pool service checked the pool twice during our visit. The property is very well decorated and equipped. We had more than enough supplies in the kitchen. We even entertained friends for dinner during our stay. The outside storage room is full of beach toys, floats, chairs and umbrellas. Waters Edge is located close to a fabulous seafood market and convenience store making trips to the grocery less frequent! The location is also in the residential part of West Beach making the beach area directly in front of the house somewhat private and certainly not overcrowded. The owner is very gracious and helpful during the renting process and was accessible to answer questions and provide additional information."

  • I would highly reccommend this property to any large group desiring a beachfront rental with a private pool! Our extended family, consisting of 7 adults and 2 teenagers, had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed the week. We even had 2 additional adult family members visit us for the weekend and still had more than enough room. Larger groups good easily be accommodated if willing to double up or use the pull out sofa. The bunk room is perfect for teenagers and young adults or even a family with young children. The upstairs master with private deck was perfect for older parents who loved the view without the sand!   • What a great vacation place! Everything was exactly as it was advertised. The accomodations were great! We had 3 families with 8 children and there were plenty of things to do and lots of room for everyone. Enjoyed the vacation from beginning to end.

  • We just returned from a wonderful week at WatersEdge in Gulf Shores. This rental is named appropriately, because it truly is on the "WatersEdge". It was fantastic to be able to step right off the back deck and onto the beach! The private pool was great fun for all of us. We had a large group and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room in the rental, everything was clean, and the location was fantastic. We could walk a block down the street and hit the beach stores or stop for ice cream, the kids loved it! I would recommend this rental to anyone who plans on visiting Gulf Shores. The Owner was easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure we had a good time. Everything was just as she had described. Thanks for a great vacation.

Our family of five stayed at this property this past March. ( It could accommodate a much larger group if needed.) The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and roomy with many amenities. The beach was everything that we hoped for with the white sand that stretched out for miles and the pool overlooking this lovely setting. It is conveniently located to shopping, a wonderful tennis complex in town, dolphin and fishing trips and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful and prompt in her replies. I would recommend this place to any of our friends. Recommended for: Romantic Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Age 55+, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities The Wirtz Family, Plover, WI

  • For the vacation of a life time go to WatersEdge. It is a home away from home. The house was recently updated and is very eye catching. There is something for the entire family to do.The swimming pool is large and it was a big hit for the young as well as the young at heart.If you just want to relax on the spacious deck sooner or later you will see dolphins playing in the water very breath taking.On my morning walks I would always find sea treasures washed ashore by the tide and the beaches are miles of white sand--so beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to dine at home. Grocery stores are near by as well as restaurants if you choose to eat out.   • Our family reunion at WatersEdge was simply amazing. The accommodations were top-notch. The property has a large ocean-facing pool which is just steps away from the white sand beach. The house is beautifully decorated, with large bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, large seating area, and wonderful deck overlooking the gulf. Mornings were especially enjoyable relaxing on the deck watching the dolphins or taking a long walk along the shore. The house is very quiet and centrally located, accessible to many local markets, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Our family reunion is definitely one to remember! We look forward to a return visit.

  • My extended family and I stayed at this lovely property recently. What a vacation we had! The home was more than described....we were so very happy with our choice. The decor and colors are both happy and tasteful. There was not a single thing we needed that wasn't found there and the owner was both pleasant and helpful. For us, the pool was a huge amenity and we were happy to see the size accommodated our larger group. It was nice to descend the back stair and be on your pool deck. The entire group made the most of it all. The beach was just beautiful, and we left a number of sandcastle masterpieces on it! We enjoyed being close to grocery stores for that inevitable missed ingredient (although the house did have a nice spice rack). The grand kids were ecstatic to be 2 minutes from Scoops Ice Cream! We will be back! I can - and will - highly recommend WatersEdge to friends and family.
