Wonderful trip to celebrate 5 birthday's in our family. House was great and the perfect amount of space for 5 couples! October weather was great....some of us were out to watch the sunrise each morning, then all of us out to the beach by mid-morning, relaxing all day and watching the dolphins jump by our view! Amazing! Then early evening back to the beach to watch the sunset! Thanks Mary Martha for a great house to make our trip so memorable!

Great house and great views. This was a last minute rental for us since my wife was to have back surgery on the Tuesday after we returned. Would have been more enjoyable if LEE (as in Tropical Storm) hadn't been paying a visit. Mary Martha was very easy to work with and the rental process went off without a hitch. We have been going to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach since the 80's and this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

I wish to personally Thank Mary Martha for providing my family such a fantastic home for our Family Vacation. Check-in and check-out was flawless ~ No lines to wait. The location was just perfect! Just an 18 minute stroll down the beach to parasailing - just a 2 minute stroll to a convenient store, ice cream shop, and Restaurant for your afternoon cocktails! The house accommodated us perfectly with room to spare ~ Family members ranged from 78 years old to 11 years old . There was something for everyone - beach - pool - with golf/tennis/shopping nearby! Rental bikes were delivered to the house for our morning ride on the bike path just outside the house. The dining area accommodated the puzzle/card/board games~ a great gathering place for All! For those late risers ~ they chose the bedrooms upstairs ~ early risers chose the bedrooms on the main floor. The decks were a gathering place as well watching the kids in the pool or on the beach. My family had photos taken just outside the house ~ memories to last a lifetime! (suggest early evening around 6:30 PM – khaki shorts/white tee shirts – made for awesome photos). With Dolphins each morning ~ Stars at night ~it was just the perfect backdrop to a beautiful fun filled Vacation! I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a convenient, accommodating and hassle free week of Sun and Sand! We will definitely be back Mary Martha!

wonderful stay

There were 11 in our group from age 8 to 64 and we had a wonderful time. There were seashells everywhere on the beach and there was a full moon which was just beautiful shinning on the water. We hated to go home. Everything in the house was just as the pictures showed. We went on a dolphin cruise which was fantastic. One of the children in our group is handicapped and we rented a beach wheelchair for her from Ike's and it was great. They delivered and picked up at the house. It was just effortless to push in the sand and you can push it right out into the water. We would definitely go back.The location of the house was great, away from the crowds but close to anything you needed or wanted to do.

This was our families frist visit to Alabama. It was wonderful. The house at Watersedge was perfect. It has everything you need. It is just steps away from the beach. The pool really was nice for when we were taking a break from the beach. There are stores in walking distance, if you like to walk. We plan on making this trip again. The house has a great deal of room, the the master bed room up stairs has a view to die for. Thanks to Watersedge and MS.Mary fro a great vacation. Patti

We had a fabulous time at Gulf Shores last week in your condo. The furnishings are very nice and we have already booked the condo for next summer. I highly recommend this property as a great place to stay in Gulf Shores.

Perfect Beach Front Property (5 out of 5 Stars)! Our extended family had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed the week. The bunk room is perfect for teenagers and young adults or even a family with young children. The upstairs master with private deck was perfect for older parents who loved the view without the sand! The pool was clean and the pool service checked the pool twice during our visit. The property is very well decorated and equipped. We had more than enough supplies in the kitchen. We even entertained friends for dinner during our stay. The outside storage room is full of beach toys, floats, chairs and umbrellas. Waters Edge is located close to a fabulous seafood market and convenience store making trips to the grocery less frequent! The location is also in the residential part of West Beach making the beach area directly in front of the house somewhat private and certainly not overcrowded. The owner is very gracious and helpful during the renting process and was accessible to answer questions and provide additional information."

Our family had a blast! Very spacious and is perfect for big groups. We rented both sides and plan on going back next year! The new pool was so nice to come back to after a long day at the beach! Property is close to everything but yet on a quiet street! Absolutley loved it!

What a great vacation place! Everything was exactly as it was advertised. The accomodations were great! We had 3 families with 8 children and there were plenty of things to do and lots of room for everyone. Enjoyed the vacation from beginning to end.

We just returned from a wonderful week at WatersEdge in Gulf Shores. This rental is named appropriately, because it truly is on the "WatersEdge". It was fantastic to be able to step right off the back deck and onto the beach! The private pool was great fun for all of us. We had a large group and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room in the rental, everything was clean, and the location was fantastic. We could walk a block down the street and hit the beach stores or stop for ice cream, the kids loved it! I would recommend this rental to anyone who plans on visiting Gulf Shores. The Owner was easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure we had a good time. Everything was just as she had described. Thanks for a great vacation.

For the vacation of a life time go to WatersEdge. It is a home away from home. The house was recently updated and is very eye catching. There is something for the entire family to do.The swimming pool is large and it was a big hit for the young as well as the young at heart.If you just want to relax on the spacious deck sooner or later you will see dolphins playing in the water very breath taking.On my morning walks I would always find sea treasures washed ashore by the tide and the beaches are miles of white sand--so beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to dine at home. Grocery stores are near by as well as restaurants if you choose to eat out. Our family reunion at WatersEdge was simply amazing. The accommodations were top-notch. The property has a large ocean-facing pool which is just steps away from the white sand beach. The house is beautifully decorated, with large bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, large seating area, and wonderful deck overlooking the gulf. Mornings were especially enjoyable relaxing on the deck watching the dolphins or taking a long walk along the shore. The house is very quiet and centrally located, accessible to many local markets, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Our family reunion is definitely one to remember! We look forward to a return visit.

My extended family and I stayed at this lovely property recently. What a vacation we had! The home was more than described....we were so very happy with our choice. The decor and colors are both happy and tasteful. There was not a single thing we needed that wasn't found there and the owner was both pleasant and helpful. For us, the pool was a huge amenity and we were happy to see the size accommodated our larger group. It was nice to descend the back stair and be on your pool deck. The entire group made the most of it all. The beach was just beautiful, and we left a number of sandcastle masterpieces on it! We enjoyed being close to grocery stores for that inevitable missed ingredient (although the house did have a nice spice rack). The grand kids were ecstatic to be 2 minutes from Scoops Ice Cream! We will be back! I can - and will - highly recommend WatersEdge to friends and family.
