Bâtiment Ouest : Take pleasure in simple luxury. Located in the intimacy of the upper courtyard of the château, the authentically restored and well appointed bâtiment ouest is set amongst century old boxwood, and the fragrance of bay laurel, rosemary, and wisteria. Enjoy using the fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, or we can arrange for someone to cook for you. Indulge your senses at the local markets (our closest is the renowned Revel Market). In season, savour produce from the Padiès organic gardens. Dine al fresco on the private terrace, unwind in the large living/meeting room, sleep deeply in one of the two generous sized bedrooms. Have an exceptional shower in the distinctive bathroom. Swim, or soak, in the heated pool.

  • Gazebo: vine covered terrace at the pool - hang out here to enjoy the views over to St Felix, St Julia, Montgey and Aguts - our local Cathar strongholds.

  • Mountain View: sometimes we see the Pyrenees - which is spectacular - but the locals say that if we do, it will rain the next day! we find in fact it rains a couple of days later - in summer we welcome the rain - the trees really need it and it refreshes the atmoospphere
  • Monument View: the Château itself is a listed building, and, from the pool one looks onto the château de Montgey, St Felix, St Julia, and Agut.

The chickens and goats are surrounded by electric fences - but are let out for a good part of the day - so kids (no pun intended) can get plenty of "animal" time!
