Our Lake House is located in the resort community of Sherwood Shores, in quiet Byrdstown TN. Byrdstown is approximately 115 miles form Nashville TN and 145 miles from Knoxville TN.

This beautiful two-story Lake House is located minutes from Sunset Marina on fabulous Dale Hollow Lake. The lake is world renowned for its record small mouth bass and crystal clear water, with over 600 miles of shoreline. Whether your idea of a vacation is fishing, swimming, jet skiing, or just pleasure boating, Dale Hollow Lake can't be beat.

The house is new and has every amenity. There are hard wood floors, and tons of windows. A cosy fireplace for when the weather is cool. A spacious spa has been installed on the deck for your private use.

Imagine yourself grilling on the deck and watching the sun set on Dale Hollow Lake.The breeze form the lake during the spring and the fall is so refreshing.I know you will enjoy your stay.

If you have bikes or 4 wheelers, bring them for the children. (adults) There is a trail that starts close to the house that leads to a challenging 1/2 mile hike to the water's edge. Bring your boat, your family and your toothbrush. We have provided everything else. You will feel that you are at the finest hotel at a fraction of the cost.

  • LOVED this place! It was the best cabin/house we've ever stayed in. It is such a warm feeling house, which makes you feel right at home. Not only do they have a spa, but it is a Hot Spring spa (very nice)! We watched several movies on their DVD player and enjoyed just hanging out at the house at night. It only takes a few minutes to reach Sunset Marina, which was very nice. There are two restaurants at the Marina and what is considered the best bar at Dale Hollow (Moogie's). I recommend dropping your boat off at Sunset Marina first and then heading over to the house...particularly if you have a large boat. We have a 27' boat on a 34' trailer and could not back it into the driveway. The owner has a 20' pontoon and said that fits well, but you can rent a covered slip for only $25 a night, so I recommend just taking it down to save you the hassle of loading and unloading the boat each day. If you don't have a boat, definitely rent one! The lake is too beautiful to miss.

  • We appreciate people who provide lovely "pet friendly" places! Your lake home was perfect - bright, cheerful, full of windows,clean,uncluttered and tastefuly decorated. The hot tub was great and the fact that the deck was gated allowed Charlotte (our Corgi) to be outdoors a lot of the time. We will be back and will recommend your home to our friends.   • My family truley enjoyed renting this cabin over the Fourth of July. It's a lovely home that had absolutely everything we needed provided for us. The location was perfect, close to Sunset Marina, but in a quiet neighborhood that allowed us to sit on the deck and enjoy the morning. We'll definitely be back next year.

  • We really enjoyed staying in this house. It is very roomy but cozey. It's in a nice neighborhood and isn,t too far from Starpoint or Sunset marina.
