This beautiful and brand new home (completed in March 2007) has 3 kitchens, 3 living rooms, and 9 bedrooms, 8 with a private bath. The screened porch overlooks the grilling deck, the pool, and the hot tub. Heating of the swimming pool is available at an extra charge. A short walk of 650 steps takes you to the pristine South Forest Beach.
If all of these rooms are more than you need and you have 16 people or less, we offer a 20% discount rate in the spring, fall, and winter. For this rate, you will still have 7 bedrooms, 6 baths, 2 kitchens, 2 living areas, and the laundry room. All of the rooms pictured are included. We cannot offer this discount for summer weeks, as we stay booked with the larger groups.
Designer furnishings, cottage style architecture, and unique fixtures make this a home of comfortable luxury with a casual feel. A round table seats 8 people, and a second round table seats at least 4 more. Bring your friends or your extended family for a great time, with plenty of privacy for everyone. There are 4 bedrooms with king-size beds, 3 with a queen bed, one bedroom with 2 queen beds, and one bedroom with 2 double beds. Two of the 8 bathrooms are handicap accessible. An elevator is available by special permission when needed for handicapped guests.
A large European outdoor gas grill is ready for you, and a 47 inch flat screen TV. You will enjoy the experience of staying here!

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We chose to build this property because it is so close to the most beautiful beach on Hilton Head. (We think the most beautiful in the world, but we are admittedly prejudiced!) We wanted to have a home that we are proud to share with others, so we wanted new construction. Many times as a guests here in the past, we wished to rent a home that is well cared for, so we are very happy to have it to offer to you now.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is near (a 4 minute stroll of about 600 steps) the best beach! It is not very crowded, as it in the area of private homes. The beach is wide at low tide, and nice and level for biking and long walks. You can walk about a mile down the beach to get to the action area, where you can get drinks at the Tiki Bar on the ocean and play or watch the volleyball games on the beach. Our home is very near Coligny (one mile away), which is a great area for shopping and dining out. The house itself has no carpet and allows no pets. Our cleanup crew is the same woman and son who clean for us at home, and they do a great job.
The path to our beach is directly across from Myrtle Lane, and it is shaded by trees. The path is covered with carpet.

We are a new couple who met on eharmony and married in 2007. That is Jaime's little granddaughter in the picture with us. Julia has lived on Hilton Head since 2001, and Jaime since 2005. Our property is very special to us, as we designed, built, and created it together. We built with an eye for detail and artistry, as you will see by the attention we gave to the architecture and decorating. It is a little eclectic, and the artwork on the walls includes oil paintings by Julia, Now we take care of the house ourselves, and we are always adding a little more landscaping and finishing details. This year we added 2 new bedrooms, a den, kitchen and laundry room. In other words, we finished making a great little apartment poolside. Our home here on the island is about 15 minutes away, so we can be there to take care of you if you need us.
