Photo 1 - Hartwell Lake Home The dock is currently in the water and usable for boating and swimming. Lake Hartwell vacation house for rent in Lavonia, Georgia. The house was completely remodeled in 2006 and is located on beautiful Lake Hartwell just over the GA/SC border. It includes 4 bedrooms, a large dining area, large deck, great screened in porch and, for you TV lovers, a comfortable den with 36" TV and satellite. There are also 3 other TV's as well as a DVD and VCR. The house will easily sleep 10 people with upstairs including the dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bath. Both bedrooms have double beds and satellite TV. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and the living area. One bedroom has a Queen bed and one room has bunk beds and a pop-up trundle that makes into a double bed. The dining room table will seat at least 10 people and there is a bar for 4. Of course the house is fully stocked from linens, to kitchenware, to gas grill, to washer, dryer and dishwasher. There is a car port area downstairs for hanging out which also includes an extra refrigerator. The walk to the water is level and easy. There is also a private dock for lounging and securing your boat or jet skis. The boat landing is a very short drive away and local spots include Tugaloo State Park and of course the famous (at least in Lavonia) GumLog BarBQ. Location: Lavonia Ga, less than 10 minutes off of interstate 85 (exit 173 just after you cross the SC-GA border). From Charleston the drive is approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, from Myrtle Beach approximately 4.5 to 5 hours and from Atlanta, GA approximately 1.5 hours. Closest airport is Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP) in SC or the airport in Atlanta (ATL), Ga.

Out-of-Season .. $ 900/week (Sat to Sat).
$100 premium for holidays.  $85 cleaning fee.
