Casual Elegance, Steps from the Water, Top Location on 7 Mile
- Minimum stay:3-6 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Located on stunning 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, our two bedroom, two bath unit is located 30 steps from the sand and offers incredible views of the water. White sand beaches; aqua blue clear waters; average temperatures in the 80's and picture perfect sunsets every single night will make this a vacation you will remember forever.
Location
The fact the Ritz Carlton and the Westin Casuarina have built on either side of us evidences the prime location of our condominium, and offers you all the amenities of a first class full service hotel chain, without having to stay there! Our beach is clean, quiet and private, but just next door you can find people, pools, bars and restaurants, shops, and all the beach toys you can play with.
The Condominium
This third story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium offers a brand new full kitchen, private balcony, vaulted ceilings, broadband internet, and all the amenities you would expect to find in a first class hotel, yet with the comfort of a home. The master suite upstairs offers a king size bed, its own bath and walk in closet, TV, stereo and tropical furnishings. The downstairs bedroom offers a queen bed, TV and plenty of closet space and furnishings.
Our unit has just been completely renovated and offers classic, Caribbean furnishings that are elegant yet fun and comfortable. We personally outfitted our unit for our own use, and no expense was spared in making it the perfect tropical retreat.
The Complex
The Villas of the Galleon Complex is one of favorites of those who know the islands. Prime location, great beach, and many nearby amenities, it has recently undergone a total renovation and is a truly delightful place to spend your days.
An onsite management company provides hotel like amenities such as daily maid service, towel and beach chair service, and will attend to any needs you may have during your stay. All the comforts of a hotel stay, with the autonomy of having your own condo.
Amenities
We are walking distance to many great restaurants, shops, bars, tours, grocery, hotels and much more. There is terrific swimming, snorkeling, and diving right off our beach.

This condo and location were absolutely perfect for our family. No doubt that this stretch of 7 Mile Beach is by far the best and The Villas of the Galleon property is awesome. We have 3 young boys and the beach was ideal. There is great snorkeling right near by, but the beach at Villas of the Galleon is wide, all soft sand and perfect for swimming and kids. The condo itself was great. Very nicely decorated and has everything you need. The maid service is a great added amenity as was having a washer dryer. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us a ton of recommendations and advice all of which was spot on. We will definitely be returning to Grand Cayman and will never stay anywhere but here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a truly wonderful stay! This condo is a gem! It has been nicely updated and is bright and clean. The complex is quiet, well kept and safe. The location is perfect! It is on the nicest stretch of Seven Mile Beach. The daily maid service was an added bonus. We highly recommend Casanova restaurant in Georgetown. We look forward to visiting again!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

I agree with all the earlier reviews. That's why I booked this unit. And then I was even more satisfied than I expected. I walked up and down Seven Mile Beach many times and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Inside, the condo is lovely and very comfortable. The living room area is particularly pleasant and the kitchen is laid out wonderfully. The balcony is larger than I expected, and easily seats four at the table with room to spare. Next door at the Ritz and the Westin the beach was jammed, the pool was crowded--and then here at the Villas of the Galleons the grounds and the beach were serene and very private. We never bothered to rent a car because restaurants or shops were either close enough to walk to or we simply caught the bus. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all my questions.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Absolutely loved this condo. This was our 3rd visit to Grand Cayman, on previous 2 visits we stayed in hotels but this was so much better. The condo itself is very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean, great layout. The location was fantastic, close to many great restaurants and a fantastic beach area. The owner was very helpful with information regarding things to do and amenities close by. The staff at the Villas of the Galleon are top notch, very helpful, courteous and friendly. We highly recommend this condo and will definitely be returning to this unit again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year's holiday. A fantastic and extremely safe tropical location . The complex and unit # 28 far exceeded our expections . Great reasturants to walk to , but also enjoyed grilling on the beach . Great pastries at the coffee shop near the grocery store. Great strinray city trip arranged from the office , much better than years ago when we went as part of a day trip from a cruise. We have traveled to serveral Caribean locations before and this would by far be the best and safest to take children .Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We visited Cayman in Nov for 8 days had an abosolutely brillant time. The villa was perfect for 4 of us. Villa had all the amenties you could want. The view was perfect. Great location, walking distance to stores and resturants. We rented a car but we did not need to taxi's available at all times. Nearly all the resturants we visited were great Papagallos is our favourite. We will be revisiting Cayman again and will most defintely stay at the same villa we all loved it. Couldn't be more thrilled with this unit at The Villas of the Galleons. The two-story layout was perfect to accomodate our family (kids 11,13, and 15) and the location is ideal - the description was 100 percent accurate. Our unit was spotless and had all the comforts of home. Lisa in the office was extremely helpful, from arranging a trip to Sting Ray City and making dinner/shopping recommendations. This place exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful that everything was exactly as the listing stated! Thanks.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Seven Mile Beach:
We purchased this property in the 80's because after one trip, we knew we had discovered the most beautiful, cleanest, safest island in the Caribbean, and would spend our vacations here forever. More importantly, as people in the real estate business, we believe location is everything, and this location is truly the best on the island. Over the years three generations of our family have enjoyed the beautiful water, wonderful people, and great amenities, and we have enjoyed sharing it with our friends and guests.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Although we've furnished our condo to be comfortable and stylish, the real benefit is the location. You can walk to fantastic snorkeling, great dining, and lots of entertainment. Our beach is private and quiet, but with the two best resorts on the island on either side, you are just steps from activities, pool bars, watersports, rental cars, spas, fine dining and all the action you might want. And the beach is just amazing.
