UNFORTUNATELY, HURRICANE SANDY HAS LEFT IT'S MARK ON OUR COTTAGE. WE BELIEVE IT WILL NOT BE READY FOR RENT THIS SUMMER. STAY TUNED FOR BEAUTIFUL RENOVATIONS FOR THE SUMMER OF 2014! Located in sleepy Westbrook, Ct and across the street from Long Island Sound, this beach house is spacious with a full kitchen, dining, and living room. A back yard area for children to play and parents to barbeque is included. There is a outdoor shower with both cold and hot water to wash the sand off from the beach. The beach (100 yards away) is beautiful and private for only the immediate neighborhood.

Great sandbars and, at low tide, a walk to explore Salt Island is available. Many great restaurants and summer activities are nearby, including Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, The Essex Steam Train, a bird sanctuary, and the Westbrook and Clinton outlet malls. Little Stannard Beach borders The Water's Edge Resort and Spa's Beach.

Five families who have rented in the past have already booked for this summer!

                Wonderful, spacious, clean, well-maintained home in a friendly neighborhood with a nice, private beach. Fantastic owners. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

                Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

                Better than advertised! Better than i could ever ask for. it was perfect and a beautiful home in a friendly neighborhood!

                Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

              The Unique Benefits at this House:
              The uniqueness of Little Stannard Beach is that there is only one dead end street with access to the beach. Most beaches have many neighborhoods with acccess. It is not unusual to have only one or two families on this beach in the summer.
