Across the street from Long Island Sound, this beach house is spacious with a full kitchen, dining, and living room. A back yard area for children to play and parents to barbeque is included. The beach (100 yards away) is beautiful and private for only the immediate neighborhood.
Great sandbars and, at low tide, a walk to explore Salt Island is available. Many great restaurants and summer activities are nearby, including Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport, The Essex Steam Train, a bird sanctuary, and the Westbrook and Clinton outlet malls. Little Stannard Beach borders The Water's Edge Resort and Spa's Beach.
Six of the seven families renting for summer 2009 are return renters.

The Unique Benefits of this House
The uniqueness of Little Stannard Beach is that there is only one dead end street with access to the beach. Most beaches have many neighborhoods with acccess. It is not unusual to have only one or two families on this beach in the summer.
