A classic beach house updated without losing its soul. Two short blocks from the beach on New Orleans Street in the heart of Dewey. Think Provence meets southern Delaware and you'll have a sense of the unique and somewhat quirky feel and decor of the place.
The best features, in the owner's opinion, are the screened front porch and the kitchen. You get ocean and bay breezes...and the mosquitoes don't bother you while you're cocktailing. French doors open from the kitchen and dining areas onto the screened porch, thereby bringing the outdoors in. The kitchen is big and modern and fully equipped. Great for entertaining.
This isn’t a rental full of cheap furnishings. The owner's philosophy is to provide a nice place and expect people to take care of it. If you want to raise hell, go elsewhere. |
