Bright and spacious contemporary 4 bedroom house is always comfortable with central air conditioning and a first floor master bedroom and private bath. Spacious family room has a cathedral ceiling with stone fireplace and lots of windows. Side deck is private and surrounded by woods, and the outdoor shower is convenient after a trip to the beach.
A beautiful, private lifeguarded ocean beach is a 5 minute drive by car, or take the community shuttle bus on the weekends.
The quiet neighborhood is great for walking, jogging, or biking, and the Conservation area across the street has maintained hiking trails. It's only a 5 minute walk to tennis and basketball courts and the Shelter Harbor Inn Restaurant. Another short walk brings you to the lifeguarded swimming area and boat launch on the salt water pond.
A variety of entertainment is nearby; Newport,RI mansions (60 minutes) Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos (30 minutes) Watch Hill, RI shops (15 minutes), scenic Mystic,CT (30 minutes), Providence, RI mall and zoo,(60 minutes). Even closer, Westerly, RI offers a variety of activities, including a public golf course as well as the quaint downtown area with antique shops and Wilcox Park, with nighttime summer concerts and plays.

Westerly is a great location for a family vacation..the variety of things to do satisfy all ages, and it can busy and exciting or laid back and relaxing, depending on what you choose. We are on a quiet street, across from the conservation area, so you feel like you are surrounded by nature.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Central air conditioning is not common in this neighborhood, but it makes it very comfortable on hot humid nights. The first floor master bedroom is en suite, which is very convenient. The private yard and deck are great for get-togethers and grilling dinner. We have an assorment of board games, books, and videos for relaxing evenings and rainy days. The large windows and cathedral ceiling makes it cheerful, even on a rainy day.
