Thank you for sharing your adorable cottage with us last week. It was everything you said it would be, and we were not one bit disappointed. It is very private, the bed was extremely comfortable, and it was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We were enjoying the private hot tub outside when we were surprised by three deer walking right next to the deck! Needless to say, the scenery is magnificent, and the cottage proved to be the perfect getaway location for us. Thank you! Ralph & Karen

Amazing Rental!!

The honeymoon cottage was everything & more than I could of asked for. My rental of this cottage initially was for my honeymoon. Things didn't work out in that area so then the weekend rental turned into a girls weekend get away. (The perfect kind of therapy!) The cottage was very clean & welcoming. Beautiful views, there are so many windows around the cottage the natural light is just amazing. There was nothing in comparison to having our own private deck with hot tub to relax in, smell the jasmine & watch the stars while listen to the ocean. Very private. The beach is a 5 min walk from the cottage with cute shops/market & a diner. A truley relaxing weekend. I would highly reccomend staying at this cottage to anyone. Increadibly relaxing & beautiful. Everything that others have commented about this cottage is so true! My husband and I visited this little "piece of heaven" for three nights in August 2011. The views, jasmine, hot tub, ocean waves, hummingbirds, and privacy helped to make this a perfect getaway! I also can't say enough wonderful things about Highway One Properties! I went out on the deck to look at the spectacular view the first evening we arrived and locked us out...yes, locked out! We called Jeanie and her husband brought an extra key down to us within a few minutes. Wow...we were impressed! My only little suggestion is for visitors to bring a coffee pot if you are coffe drinkers. There is a cute little 2 cup coffee pot there so we made lots of pots of coffee. This little house is perfect in everyway! We plan on going back next summer!

This was a lovely place for a three-generational family vacation. Grandma and papa stayed in the cottage; our son’s family in the Big House. The grandchildren ate breakfast with us every morning while their parents slept late. WE especially enjoyed the beautiful garden and the ocean view. We needed a weekend getaway. My husband was in charge of finding the place. When I walked in the door – I was speechless – this place is perfect (everyone has said this). The vibe is peaceful, the cottage so in tune with the beautiful natural surroundings and, the waves crashing in the background. We’re here for the weekend, but it feels like we’ve been here for a week. So relaxing and comfortable – walking around all weekend. Thanks can never be enough!

It is rare to arrive and find accommodations that exceed one’s expectations – your cottage did just that. It was all that had been advertised and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck with its unobstructed and private view, the hot tub for a late nigh soak, and sleeping to the sound of the ocean. Hiking the Matt Davis/Dipsea trail loop right from our front door was a bonus – we didn’t use the car all weekend! Thank you for making the cottage available. Like so many before us, we hope to return!

Kathy & Ron We came to your house and cottage with our daughter to celebrate her 40th birthday. This was perfect – Mom & Dad had their own lovely cottage and joined the young people for meals and relaxation. This is a wonderful location – we never used our cars once we arrived. Everything about this cottage is perfectly wonderful. The design and comfort have exceeded our expectations. The hot tub under the stars: wow! Marco & Tanya My husband and I decided to take a week to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary and it was such a perfect place to spend it. We loved sleeping to the sound of the ocean and wake-up to the birds singing outside our window. We had a surprising encounter with a buck that wanted to walk through the deck to get to a doe waiting by the bushes. We also shared the sun with two foxes sitting on the grass below the deck while we lay out on the chaise lounges. The beautiful view from the deck was different every day. A foggy day was just as stunning as a clear sunny day. Stinson and your cottage made it all worthwhile! Thank you.

We came here from Roselville on a tip from a co-worker not fully knowing what to expect to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was spectacular! 3 days of perfect weather. In the evening, watch for deer down below the deck, along with a fox. Point Reyes is great! Went there for their town parade & shopping…. Great time!

Reading through all the previous entries, it’s clear there has been lots of love expressed here – for this place, the great pacific and for each other. Maybe that’s why it felt so perfect for our 20th anniversary. With no distractions except for the ocean and the hummingbirds, it was easy to concentrate on what’s important. We had both sun and fog, both were beautiful. The cottage is the perfect size for two. As with the previous guests, we felt wrapped in the soothing blanket of the air and the light. We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to spend a long weekend. Thanks!

Stinson Beach has always been a favorite place of ours. 2 years ago, I rented a house on the beach and we celebrated Davis 30th birthday with a group of our best friends. This trip, at this cottage, topped it because we got engaged! Right there on the deck, overlooking the ocean, on a beautiful warm sunny afternoon!! Will never forget it. What a perfect place to build these memories.

Of all the places we've stayed at Stinson (and there have been many) this is the best! For us it is a total retreat, perfect for mediatation, tai chi & listening to the sea. The design and siting of this cottage are perfect - all this light and yet total privacy - right in town but not of it. We love all the wood and the windows. You can sea the ocena from every room. Its so uncluttered yet comforatble. Thank you for building such a beautiful cottage.
