Come Enjoy BIG FUN on Lake Sammamish and be only 20 minutes from downtown Seattle. Lake Sammamish is the largest “hidden gem” you’ll come across, boasting much calmer and warmer water than Lake Washington, and filled with things to do.
This house is on Lake Sammamish, Seattle's Eastside, located directly on the lake with its own dock, renovated "Boathouse" and waterside yard. Situated on West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Bellevue, this beautiful 3,600 square foot home is 6 miles to downtown Bellevue, 5 miles to downtown Redmond, 8 miles to Kirkland, and 15 miles or a 20 minute drive to downtown Seattle.
So you get the beauty and fun of being on a very water sports friendly lake, which warms to 75 degrees for July, August, and September and can enjoy all that Greater Seattle has to offer for nature, entertainment, shopping, and some of the best cuisine and restaurants in the country.
This wonderful house features an almost completely glass front, facing the lake, with the character of a mid century modern home but with an Asian flair. The house was completely remodeled in 2002. The 3,600 square feet are comprised of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open plan living, dining, kitchen upstairs, and a family media room, and laundry room downstairs.
The kitchen boasts an 11 foot granite prep island, a 36” professional gas Thermador cook top with grill, a Dacor Convection wall oven and convection microwave, a Sub-zero 36” fridge, "super quiet" Bosch dishwasher and all the amenities, including a complete set of All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans. The house has an attached 2 car garage and as well as plenty of additional parking. There is also the original Boathouse, which sits very close to the lake that has been converted into an outdoor Entertaining Room complete with a lakeside deck, bar and a supplemental kitchen.
The master bedroom, on the main floor with amazing views of the lake, has a King size bed with en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom upstairs has a Queen size bed and sits quietly tucked at the back side of the house, with a full bath directly across the hall. The 3rd bedroom has a King size bed located downstairs with views of the garden and lake with French doors directly to the outside. The 4th bedroom has a Queen size bed also with direct French door access to the patio. The 5th bedroom is a Queen size loft style bed situated next to the ¾ downstairs bathroom.
Although you will probably spend most of your time outside on the lake, playing or barbecuing on a glorious gas grill, or exploring the area, it’s always nice to have the option to retreat to the family room’s big sectional couch that comfortably fits six, put in a DVD and relax in front of the 42” flat screen TV with home theatre sound. And if that doesn't appeal to you, you can step outside into the 8' hot tub and relax under the stars!
All bedrooms are appointed with very luxurious "Pillow top" mattresses and 5 star linens. The house is equipped with a computer and high speed internet access.

I had always imagined having a summer wedding by the lake. Something intimate, with fabulous food, live acoustic guitar music, fresh flowers and a pretty white tent where our family and friends could feel at home, and celebrate with us; thanks to the owner Brian and his beautiful property, the wedding I had always imagined came to life. There were so many special moments we shared that week. From the wedding day itself: Getting ready upstairs with all of the girls, walking out on the dock for our ‘first look’, walking down the aisle under a beautiful white tent towards the water with live guitar music being played, our special dances in a glowing tent by the water, the bonfire for late night smores and the espresso bar. I could go on and on. But what made all of those details so special was just how connected everyone felt. The joy and love around on that day was palpable and the setting was absolutely beautiful. The next day we had a relaxed bbq with our closest friends and family. Most people had a turn at a watersport as we had rented a boat for the week from Jim at seattleboatshare.com. It was a mix bag of knee boarding, wake boarding, skiing; even the old guys who hadn’t tried it in years got in the water and we all cheered them on from the dock as they went by. It is hard to put into words how incredible this week was. Things we loved about the house: It’s stylish, yet homey. It’s wired so you can listen to music off your ipod, Spotify or Pandora throughout the house and in the cabana (while cooking, hot tubing or mixing cocktails). The kitchen was awesome for cooking, and the cabana for all of the bbqs we had. The boat lift made getting on and off the lake quick and easy. The big comfy couch and flat screen downstairs was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sun and play on the lake. Being a businessman, the owner was incredibly professional and provided us with 5 star accommodation. What we hadn’t anticipated was how much more he would willfully take on to make our day incredible. He ensured the property was loaded and picture perfect from the moment we arrived. He even went so far as to organize our unique reception ‘grand entrance’ by boat with some friends of his down the street! Brian, we will be forever grateful to you for contributing to our special day in more ways than just providing the venue. You shared your home with us, and we loved every minute of being there!! We will be back for sure!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The listing for this property is accurate and the photos don't really do it justice. It is top notch in all regards. I spoke with the owner before we rented and he welcomed my sister-in-law from nearby who reviewed the house for us. There is a very complete set of amenities including lots of towels, many cooking and serving pieces as well as "starter" dry goods. I'd recommend this property as excellent accommodations for a large group or family. There are no single beds so plan your sleeping arrangements ahead of time. The location on Lake Sammamish is beautiful. Seattle is easily accessible. Do ask for detailed instructions on locating and driving to the house, otherwise you will pass the entrance several times.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our group of 3 families, (including 11 people total and 5 young children) had a blast. It was the perfect house for relaxing and entertaining. The kids enjoyed swimming and boating. The adults loved the hot tub and large living spaces, including a fully stocked kitchen. The lakefront patio is spacious and incredible, and the proximity to Bellevue restaurants and shopping was very convenient. Brian was very accomodating, even greeted us on arrival. We highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family recently spent a week in this wonderful home. We enjoyed the views and everything the home had to offer; kayak, canoe, hot tub, wonderful beach house & grill - and that was just the outdoor ammenities! This home easily handled our group of 10 allowing privacy when needed and many entertainment options. The listing accurately describes the ammentities but the pictures don't do justice to the home. The location was great; easy access to downtown Seattle while able to enjoy peaceful and quiet time at the house. We hope to return soon. And Brian was just a phone call away if we had questions.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Brian, the owner, was incredibly accomodating for our group of 10 that stayed in the home. We were in the area for a family wedding and we were able to turn it into a reunion. Perfect! He could charge twice as much and we would have been very happy with the accomodations and the amenities. We look forward to staying whenever we are in town as a group. Thank you Brian!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The house was clean, well maintained, and excellent for a gathering of old friends. We utilized the boat house and dock, both of which are mere steps from the house. We will definitely stay here again when we find ourselves again in the Seattle area.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I stayed here with a group of friends, including six adults and a toddler from New York, Boston, and Seattle, for five nights between Christmas and New Year's 2009. We loved the place: a cozy winter retreat with great walking trails nearby. Mostly we spent our time between trips to the hot tub in the kitchen, which is certainly the highlight of the house if you like to cook good food--sitting around drinking wine and watching the weather on the lake. I am sure the place would be even more stunning in the summer when you could actually get in the lake. We had a great experience here and would certainly return.Did you find this review helpful? As beautiful as the pictures look, they do not do justice to the views of the lake that are captured from virutally ever corner of this extraordinary home. My wife, baby and I just returned from spending a week at Lake Sammamish and had a fantastic stay. Everything about this property is first class up to and including the wonderful lakefront yard, complete with a full outdoor kitchen and a private dock. You won't be disappointed.
