Our October Vacation

Guest: Jo and Gary (Chattanooga, TN)
Date of Stay: 10/14/11 Review Submitted: 11/04/11

We stayed here in October, 2011; Tom and Gayle were super hospitable- whatever you need they are there to provide it! The colors were beautiful, the house warm and comfortable, the sunrise over the water each morning was spectacular. We set out in a different direction everyday- This is the perfect location for sightseeing in Boston, Plymouth and the Cape. We did it all- including Martha’s vineyard. We highly recommend anyone to take this vacation- you too will have warm and special memories of the Boston/Cape Cod area and this special house- which really does have the best of both worlds.

Owner response:We are so glad that you had a nice vacation!!!! We are also glad that we could help make it memorable!!! THANK YOU!!!! Gayle & Tom

Home away from Home

Traveling with four children under the age of 8, it is important for us to feel at home. Tom and Gayle's place in Plymouth felt like home the minute we stepped into it. You would have thought the kids lived in this house all their life with the way they "moved" right in. The location was perfect for our short forays into Plymouth between naps and was also an easy trip to the Cape for sightseeing. Watching the sunrise each morning over the bay from the upstairs bedroom or the deck was amazing. The kids already want to know when we will be going back. When we do, we will stay at Tom and Gayle's. I have rented from VRBO often and Tom and Gayle have been the easiest and nicest to work with. They were able to extend our stay for a couple of days when bad weather hampered our plans at the beginning of the week. Everything was top notch. Thanks for a wonderful "Pilgrim"age to Plymouth.

My mother and I stayed in this lovely house for a week last summer, and we really enjoyed it. The views of the water are amazing, the house is spotless and very comfortable, and it is convenient to the beach. I would highly recommend this house to anyone interested in enjoying the Plymouth area. We're going back this summer for two weeks!

We stayed in this lovely cottage in July 2008. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and spacious it was. I loved sitting on the deck and watching the swans in the pond. So relaxing! The beach was great just a short drive away. We really loved the quaintness of the area and it is an easy drive to the Cape and Boston. We even ventured to CT and RI for a day trip. A must stay if you are in the area.zx

We stayed here in July 08. We were very impressed with the house. Everyting one needed was there. While it was in the country it was close to all facilities. We took the train from the local station to Boston and it was also a short drive down to the Cape. I would strongly recommend it to any family and if in the Boston area again we will return.

We stayed in this wonderful cottage last summer during August 2008. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. The views of the salt marsh and ocean from the back deck and upstairs windows were terrific. I enjoyed listing to the surf in the morning. When the weather became steamy, we turned on the central air conditioning. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill made dining fun and affordable. Our teenage daughters loved having two bathrooms. The owners were very accomodating and easy to deal with. We will definitely visit in the future and highly recommend this cottage to future visitors.
