When we started looking for a house in Cilento, we never imagined finding a spectacular view and a newly rebuilt house in the old part of town in a "palazzo" built centuries ago.

The house was renovated in spring 2003 and has a concrete frame. It is laid out on two floors for a total of 1120 square feet, plus there are three patios totaling another 515 sq. feet.

  • We called our place "House of the Ovens" (Casa dei Forni in Italian), because during the restructuring of this old family residence, the original ovens were left in place. Surrounded by over 1,000 years of history, our home is a bit of the past, where you will find all the comforts of a newly remodeled house with traditional charm.

  • We highly recommend that you discover Pollica and its environs: Acciaroli, Celso, Galdo, Pioppi and Cannicchio. These are short trips. For instance, Pioppi, where you could visit the small aquarium of the "Museo del Mare" (Museum of the Sea), is only 20 minutes away. There are also wonderful day trips to renowned locations such as Pompei, the Amalfi Coast, the Island of Capri (seasonal), or various monasteries.
