We just spent a week at the Big Beach House and it was wonderful! The house is very clean with the updated kitchen and new carpet in some rooms. The biggest decision we had to make each day was beach, heated pool, regular pool, or hot tub--just wonderful! Captain Ritchie was helpful and answered any questions we had. The golf cart was always charged and ready for any driving we wanted to do. It was relaxing to wake up and go to sleep hearing the waves crashing on the shore. The entire trip was as good as we expected and we hope to do this again someday!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My husband and I spent 8 days at the Beach House. We had a wonderful time. We loved sitting on the beach every evening with a glass of wine, watching the sun set and spotting the occasional dolphin. There was almost always a wonderful breeze. There are two pools available. We only used one, and enjoyed it very much. The Beach House was a great place to relax and reconnect with nature and each other. It was perfect for us, a couple, but would be great for a family as well. We would certainly return to the Beach House and highly recommend this island and this house
