For first-time visitors, Corolla is 20 miles north of the Great Bridge that links the Outer Banks and mainland. Corolla has shops and restaurants for all tastes. The near-by Food Lion and Harris Teeter have everything you could need, while the local Corolla Center Shops (2 minute walk from our villa) can meet any last minute food/beverage, beach wear or rental needs (bikes, kayaks).

Hi Anne, Your place was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better location! The closeness to the pool/beach was perfect and allowed us to go back and forth without having to pack a cooler! We rode the bikes a few times and enjoyed just relaxing! The weather was PERFECT and we couldn't have planned for a better week! Honestly, there is nothing we could come up with that you should include or provide with your place. It had EVERYTHING! Your binder of information was perfect and we utilized it quite often! You did a great job providing everything we could need. We will highly recommend your place to our friends that want to visit the outer banks! And we got to see the wild horses! We had a great time in Corolla! The condo was fantastic and well stocked. We loved all the amenities as well! There was always something to do or explore. Boredom was never an issue on this vacation! The location and the condo really met the needs of our group (ages ranged from 65 to nearly 2 years old). The only downer was the weather. It rained most of the day on Monday and then tropical storm Andrea rolled through on Friday and part of Saturday. Despite the weather, we still had a wonderful time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely condo with us for the week!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Beautiful development, house was spotless. Perfect location to everything, steps from the beach and pools, shops within walking distance. This was our fiirst time to the outer banks and I would definitely rent this house again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We enjoyed both the condo and Corolla. Everything was in order and we did have everything needed. The location was great and used the bikes at the condo to enjoy the area. The weather as as good as it could get in May, cool and even did my annual swinging of golf clubs. We will plan to go in September for future vacations since the water was cold but we knew that when we planned the trip. Great vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had a fabulous stay at “Cheeseburger in Paradise!” The home is well appointed, clean, and had everything required to make our stay in the Outer Banks one of our best vacations in years. My 15 and 12 year old boys had plenty to keep them busy, with the basketball courts, tennis courts, and putting green all within a few yards of the house. Of course the best part of all was the gorgeous beach, which is a short easy walk from the house. We spent many hours there, enjoying the sun and swimming. The sound side is also well within walking distance, and very pretty in its own right. Since our stay was during the off season there weren’t a lot of people staying at Corolla light, which meant that we had all of the common areas practically to ourselves. The only downside of visiting during April is that many of the attractions in Corolla aren’t yet open for the season. However, Duck and Nags Head aren’t too far away and there was plenty to do and see there. Overall we had a super time and would definitely recommend Cheesebuger in Paradise and Corolla Light in general.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

If you wish to have the perfect vacation in the outer banks of North Carolina, you MUST stay in this Villa. It is beautiful! The Villa is immaculate and is stocked with everything that you and your family could ever need or want for a memorable vacation (there are many surprises as well). I am tempted not to tell you all of the wonderful amenities in this home for fear that it will not be available for my family next year! Exquisite attention to detail has been made by the personable owner of this home. I daresay that the kitchen is better stocked than is mine at home. The views of the ocean and the lighthouse are unexpected touches. The villa is such a short walk to the beach and pools that we often made the walk five or six times a day. I do not have a single complaint about this wonderful summer spot...we have stayed here the past two years and will not stay anywhere else on the Outer banks! The townhouse was very accomodating. The decor and cleanliness were superb. What a wonderful home. Everything we needed was there and the location was great with 6 children!!. We absolutely had a fantastic time while staying at Corolla Light. The townhome was beautiful inside and had all the items we needed for a relaxing, fun-filled week. The location was great as it was easy to walk to all the shops, restaurants, easy access to pool and beach. The Currituck Lighthouse was within rock throwing distance of the neighborhood. Spent a great week at this beautiful villa. We were 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of space. The kids loved the bikes that were there and participated in many of the activities the staff run. I think the kitchen had more pots,pans, dishes & glasses than I have in my house. The house was spotless when we arrived.
