Come stay with us at beautiful Atwood Lake, where your worries & stress disappear as you enter through our doors. This scenic area, located 30 minutes southeast of Canton, OH, offers a variety of activities suitable for all tastes, preferences and groups of vacationer's.
This three season cabin has two bedrooms (Master – full bed, Second BR – Bunk beds with a full bed on bottom) and one bathroom, remodeled in 2005. Our large living area features a TV with cable, DVD/VHS player, radio with CD player, local phone and a daybed for additional sleeping accommodations. The dining area was also remodeled in 2005 and has a large table for dining or bringing the family together for your favorite board games. Other amenities include electric stove & oven, refrigerator, microwave and air conditioning.
Outside, you can relax in several patio chairs under our covered porch or sit beside a campfire made in the campfire ring. Directly across the street is a playground, which has a swing set and spring toys for the children, as well as a basketball court and horseshoe pit for the “older” children.
Take advantage of this 7 mile long and 1 mile wide lake where you have access to swimming, fishing, boating and jet skiing. Atwood Lake is perfect for small boats, pontoon boats, sailboats and jet skis, however, there is a 25HP limit for watercraft. Rentals are available at both Atwood Lake Marinas, in addition to a full line of fishing supplies. The local boat ramp is only two miles away.
This beautiful region of rolling hills, lakes and trees offer local summertime attractions such as golfing, volleyball, tennis, hiking and biking trails. Short drives will let you enjoy Amish Country and exciting museums, such as the Football Hall of Fame, First Ladies Museum and Warthers Museum, among others. Or take a step back in history with a visit to historic Zoar, OH. Zoar is home to several festivals throughout the season, so be sure to coordinate your travels accordingly.
During your stay with us, plan to spend a day at Tuscora Park where you can enjoy swimming, putt-putt, batting cages, numerous playgrounds and picnic areas, along with small children’s amusement rides. Or visit Woods Tall Timber Lake where you can spend a day in the water, having fun with water toys and paddle boats or at their par 3 golf course.
Whatever your interests, Atwood Lake has something for everyone, even if it is simply to curl up with a good book and relax. This is such a great place to stay, where you can keep busy and relax at the same time. There simply is not enough time in one week to take advantage of everything this area has to offer and for that reason, we offer discounts for multi-week stays as well as for repeat customers.
