1,236 sq ft - this condo is MUCH larger than most 2 bedrooms! The main room alone is around 600 sq ft.
Newer building offers stunning views from a 30-FOOT WIDE WALL OF GLASS, floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall, overlooking the Gulf! Our huge balcony will quickly become your favorite hang-out. From the 16th floor, you can see for MILES, with a front-row seat for the daily dolphin and pelican entertainment!
Eight-mile long Little Lagoon is behind the condo - views from both bedrooms. Bring your jet skis and fishing rods and walk three blocks down to West Pass. The kids will love fending off the pinfish, chasing minnows and hermit crabs, or dropping down a crab basket ~ and the adults love the fishing action.
Sanibel lies in a low-density, mainly residential area where you won't have to fight for a spot on the beach, but is only 2.5 miles to Highway 59 which is the hub of activity and restaurants of Gulf Shores. A 5-minute drive to the Super Walmart on Ft. Morgan Rd at 59 will meet all your shopping needs, including groceries and beach supplies!
Beach access/boardwalk is directly across the street, a few houses to left.
SLEEPING arrangements, sleeps SEVEN total in beds:
- KING bed in Master.
- Two sets of BUNK beds in bunk room (equals FOUR TWIN beds) plus one twin trundle.
- Large leather sectional (9 feet long) in living room easily and comfortably sleeps an additional person but is not a sofa sleeper.
- Two FULL baths with dual sinks AND additional half-bath in the hallway.
Bring ONLY your personal items. We provide: bath towels, linens, hand soap, dishwashing soap, and a roll of TP for each bathroom - PLUS a rolling beach cart and rolling cooler provided.
There is a stacking, full-size washer/dryer in hallway closet with detergent if needed. The kitchen is fully outfitted with salt, pepper, sugar, dishtowels/hotpads, cleaners, dishes, glasses, cookware, toaster, microwave, blender, etc. Refrigerator has water/ice-dispenser in the door! Gulf Shores is still quaint - yet has everything you need from a beach town for a great vacation! We grew tired of the traffic and hustle and bustle in Destin and other beach areas. Most importantly, we chose Gulf Shores for the sugar white sands, crystal clear water, and plenty to do (or NOT do).
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Fishing in the Pass or in Little Lagoon behind the condo, walking to Bahama Bob's for happy hour or dinner, being able to take a jog down West Beach without fear of being run over! I also love the super fast wi-fi for my laptop on a rainy day. The views of BOTH the Gulf AND Little Lagoon are simply gorgeous!

I grew up in the Pensacola area (next town to the east) and had a love for the beach and being on the water, and there is nowhere I'd rather be! I married a New Yorker, and it only took ONE visit to the panhandle beaches for him to fall - hook, line and sinker - for the stunning beaches and the laid-back attitude that goes with it! We visit our condo at least six or seven times a year, and know the area very well.

**Guest had trouble posting the review so I have copied and pasted it in ** Better than Expected!!!! ""The first thing you notice when you open the door is the amzing panoramic gulf view. You are surrounded by beauty inside and out. There were 7 in our party. (3 adults, 2 teenagers and 10/11 yeard olds) We were all very comfortable. The teenagers slept on the couch and loved it. Ample bathroom space for everone. The kitchen was fully furninshed and had lots of extras. I loved the washer/dryer combo. I washed our clothes every night which made the trip home much easier. The beds were so comfortable...what little time we spent in them, you can hardly come in off the balcony!!!! Wal-Mart was our best friend! (Aprox. a 10 minute drive) We bought lots of snacks and groceries. We didn't want the hassle of getting dressed to go out to eat. We literally needed to go home to rest! We were up to catch the sunrise and dolphin show every morning, playing on the beach and skim boarding all day, fishing and catching hermit crabs in the lagoon in the evenings, and chasing crabs on the beach til well after midnight....we were exhausted, in a wonderful way! Great family vacation! We had some trouble with the locks but the owner was only a phone call away and very attentive. There were some elevator troubles (we were worried....being on the 16th floor) but they had it fixed quickly. We drove down the beach and looked at all the houses for rent and I mentioned renting one of them next time to be directly on the beach (not across the street) but the kids were adamit....they definitely want to stay in Sanibel 1605 the next time!!!! There was also a really bad storm that came through on our third night. We were told it packed 65 mph wind. We were completely unaware. We never heard a thing. I have already recommened this to friends and will continue to do so. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! The little things make all the difference. My 10 year old daughters favorite thing was the blender, (she made "margarittas") My 11 year old loved the garbage disposal, my husband LOVED the stereo in the living area, my mom loved the painting over the sofa, and my son loved the fishing poles!!!! "
