Driftwood cottage overlooks a beautiful brook cascading down the mountain. The water drops and splashes down the waterfall, flowing over moss covered rocks, creating wonderful sounds of rushing water as it flows behind the cottage.You can see a bit of the waterfall from the covered back deck.During Spring there are millions of wildflowers.In summer the Mountain Laurel and rhododendrun bloom in masse. There are also seasonal mountain views. Located in the Little River Valley. We are minutes from both Brevard and Hendersonville. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door that opens onto the covered porch perched above the brook. Fall asleep and awake refreshed to the sound of the babbling brook below! You can see the waterfall from this covered porch/open deck combo and it's perfect for watching the squirrels play or birds sing. Historic Hendersonville and quaint downtown Brevard have many superb restaurants that range from family friendly casual to upscale gourmet.
