Nestled in 3.5 acres of mixed woodland, the swiss style log chalet overlooks Lac Mercier, the old village of Mont Tremblant and the ski mountain. Built into the gentle hillside slope on three levels, the Main Chalet for rental purposes comprises of an upper main accommodation on two levels.
The main accommodation with separate entrance has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, wood fireplace in lounge, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. With beautiful natural wood floors, walls and beams, the main house exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of large double glazed windows overlook four sides of the property and the local wildlife. The wrap-around deck on the first floor and the balconies of the upstairs front two bedrooms have magnificent views of the surrounding woods, Lac Mercier, the old village of Mont Tremblant and the ski mountain. We also provide the use of 2 bicycles and 2 kayaks (at renter's sole risk) from our private lake access with dock (Summer only).
If you want a four season chalet that offers summer and winter sports this is ideally situated in a quiet yet easily accessible location 10 minutes from the ski mountain, 5 minutes drive or a short cycle/walk from local shops/cafes. The chalet is also very conveniently situated for several wonderful golf courses, the Scandanavian Spa, Gray Rocks and many other local attractions.

Why the Owner Chose Mont Tremblant
We were looking for a ski cabin with lake access for summer wakeboarding, waterskiing and kayaking and with easy access to the numerous golf courses in the area.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We prefer to be off the busy ski mountain during the winter especially at night time when it can be noisy. We look forward to relaxing in front of our log fire in our peaceful cabin after a good day on the slopes. Our cabin suits all our adventure and sporting wishes and yet is conveniently situated close to local amenities such as shops, restaurants & cafes. Spring, Summer and Fall golf is nearby - with plenty of courses to choose from. We really enjoy relaxing at home in our cozy log cabin surrounded by forest and with great views of Lac Mercier and the Ski Mountain. The night stars are wonderful from the decks.

Last winter, we had the opportunity to rent this beautiful cabin for the entire ski season. We truly appreciated every week-end, Holliday season and Spring Break with our kids. It was soooo peaceful and restless; just what you might expected after a working week. We truly recommend this cabin. The Cameron's are very great people to deal with.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This nearly new home was a perfect fit for our family. It's practically brand new and has nice beds, a great kitchen and a warm, homey feel. The log construction, the woodsy location and the lake view (especially from the second floor deck) make it a great escape from the suburbs. We used the kayaks and the bikes every day. And the Tremblant location is an easy one-day drive from the New York area. The owner was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. There's a neighbor in the downstairs apartment, which cuts into privacy a little bit; on the other hand, you've got a built-in concierge.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at Chalet Cameron more! The house was immaculately clean, and every detail had been thought of, especially in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen's extensive supply of pots, pans, and other paraphernalia made it so easy to cook while enjoying the view off the deck. We also loved using the fireplace on chilly nights! The bedrooms were beautiful and spacious, and having two bathrooms was definitely nice. The kayaks were fun to use on Lac Mercier, with access being just down the road and then down a (relatively steep!) path. We really loved the location of the chalet- the resort, old village, and St-Jovite were all within a 20 minute drive, and there is easy access to the main highway through the Laurentian villages. However, you would never know that all that was so close! The house really felt removed from the hustle and bustle of Mont Tremblant on a quiet, wooded road. Our favorite activities were hiking at Parc National du Mont-Tremblant and at Reserve Faunique de Papineau-Labelle, enjoying great food at Antipasto in St-Jovite and Cafe Bistro in Val-David (among others), and just enjoying the BEAUTIFUL surroundings! We truly did not want to leave at the end of our stay. The Camerons clearly take pride in their cabin, and it shows.

We stayed at the cabin the 3rd week of July 2008 and had a great time despite the rainy weather. We were 2 families for a total of 8. We enjoyed what we could of the Tremblant ares but we had a great place to comme back to every night. This cabin has everything, just bring clothes and food because everything else is already there. The kitchen has everything from plates to pots via the dishwasher ! Big dining room table that easily sits 8. We spent a lot of time in the living room with all the games / TV / DVD and fireplace. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs, the parent had one each and the kids shared the 3rd and had a ball! The spacious upstairs bathroom was busy all the time but the new shower installed in the laundry room / downstairs bathroom will solve this traffic jam. 2 kayaks are available and a boat was added as well as bikes. Situated in a quiet neighborhood of Old Tremblant, relaxation on the big sun deck was easy and getting to anything was really quick : 5 minutes to Tremblant, 10 minutes to St-Jovite and a 5 minute ride to the Petit Train du Nord bike trail. We'll tell our friends and are looking back to returnong.
