Welcome to "SouthPointe"
We are located just steps from the beautiful, pristine, guarded, Fenwick Island beaches. The wonderful thing about staying in Fenwick Island is that the beaches are not nearly as crowded as Bethany or Rehoboth, yet the central location makes everything along the Delmarva coast within easy reach.
There is plenty of room in this brand new, single family home for everyone. However, please keep in mind that Fenwick Island has a strict 12 person maximum occupancy law. There are 3 levels of wrap around decks plus two balcony's, complete with an indoor/outdoor sound system. The top floor Master Suite boasts expansive ocean views and has a beautiful slate tiled bathroom with a walk in shower accompanied by two shower heads.
The second Master Bedroom Suite offers a slate tiled shower as well as a large soaking tub. It also has a single pull out sofa bed for a child, if needed.
There are two more bedrooms with queen beds as well as another bedroom with twin beds. On the lower floor, there is a den with a single pull out sofa bed. There is a two car garage to keep your cars clean and room for 2 more cars if needed. There is also a private outdoor shower and 5 bikes for you to have access to.
The house has been professionally decorated by well known, local designer, Mareita Bertram of MLB Designs. We have decorated this house with your every need in mind. The gourmet kitchen boasts granite counters and stainless appliances. We have also outfitted it with extra Cuisinart small appliances.
The family room has a large plasma TV and is filled with lots of games to keep you entertained. There is a lovely gas fireplace for you to relax around on an occasional chilly night. The house is within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, mini golf, go cart racing, movies and a terrific water park.

- The town of Fenwick - called the "Quiet Resort" has restaurants, stores, and activities that are an easy walk from the house. The town hall has a good playground for children, a basketball half court, a shuffle board court and a picnic area. A few of our favorite restaurants include Nantucket's (a nice walk down the beach), Catch 54, Harpoon Hanna's, and Fenwick Crab House. Day Trips: Rehoboth Beach - Located about a half hour from Fenwick Island, the town is much larger than Bethany and boasts many shopping and fine dining options. Make sure to enjoy the Delaware tax free benefits and shop at the 140+ outlets in Rehoboth. Lewes: Is near Rehoboth and is a fabulous, quaint, old, former whaling village. There are many antique shops located in Lewes. We rented this wonderful home during Memorial Day weekend 2011. 4 families (with 6 kids under 5) shared the home and had a wonderful time! Well appointed and GREAT location - walking distance to the beach and mini-golf. Highly recommend.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time at South Pointe! The house is beautifully appointed and so conveniently located! Perfect for a family getaway, you are steps from the beach, great restaurants, mini-golf and the wonderful smell of Fisher's popcorn.

We stayed at SouthPointe the week of July 26th, and had the most wonderful time. Everything about the cottage was top notch. We loved the way each room was decorated. It's a big place, but it always seemed very warm and cozy. SouthPointe had everything we needed!
