Location: Packwood, Mount Rainier, Washington State, USA (Packwood)
Accommodations: Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)
My Little Mountain Lodge is located on Coal Creek, 4 miles East of the town of Packwood. The creek is beautiful, more than just a babbling stream. The cabin was built in 2003. It has one bedroom upstairs which overlooks the creek. It is done in all pine and has two skylights for stargazing. The sleeping loft is also located upstairs. A built in daybed overlooks the water and there is a log bunk bed which is full size on the bottom. The living room has 2 futons which can be converted to full size beds, although it crowds the room!
TV's with DVD and VCR's are located both upstairs and downstairs. I have stereo speakers built in throughout the cabin to enjoy the music system. The back of the cabin has a very large deck which terraces down to the creek. We have a large firepit and trails winding through the property. The hot tub is located creekside.
The cabin is completely furnished with all utensils, linens etc. And you will find the candy dish fully stocked with chocolate when you arrive. The real log fireplace boasts rock collected from 3 different rivers. The cabin is loaded with bears, children are invited to try to count them all and record the number in the guest book. Bear Paws are also hidden in the river rock.
Old fashioned Nintendo 64 with Mario brothers is located in the loft as well as many books and games. The cabin is unique and inviting for a family as well as cozy and romantic as a weekend getaway for two. I promise you a delightful visit.
