Front of House / Faces Toward Ocean (Side of House Faces Street)

This contemporary tri-level house is perched on an acre of land within 3 minutes to the beach. Although not on the waterfront, house faces toward the ocean and provides wonderful cool breezes, especially on the High,large deck. It has a large grassy area for outside games such as croquet, baseball, volleyball, etc. (bring your own equipment).
Lower, first level has a very large in-law style room (equal to approximately 2 rooms) with one (1) queen-sized bed and a sofa that opens into a double. This level also contains a small room housing the washer/dryer and the second bathroom. There is a "Walk-out" to the macadem driveway at the backside of the house. Driveway is a good size allowing for 3-4 car spaces as Charlestown requires off-street parking only.
The Second level has a sunken living room with a vaulted ceiling to the third level wherein lies the kitchen/dining area. Room also contains all the entertainment equipment, i.e: TV, VCR, DVD, Radio.
This room is also the front door entry into the house.
Third level contains the Kitchen/dining area, Main bath and 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds. The large, high deck is accessed from the third level kitchen area. Deck contains table, chairs, large umbrella and electric gas grill.
Rhode island offers some of the cleanest, clearest, most scenic number of beaches, both public and private. Charlestown offers 2 town beaches and 2 state beaches.
BEACH Pass: Although I have always included the Exclusive Town Beach Pass for renters, it has proven in the past 2 years to not be as reliable for renters. So, to assure renters of beach access, I offer reimbursement for the beach fees you have paid WHEN PRESENTED WITH AUTHENTIC RECEIPTS indicating the fee paid, date and car registration(FOR PUBLIC/STATE BEACHES).
This allows you the freedom to select ANY of the 4 beaches within Charlestown and avoid not being admitted because you arrived too late and/or crowding of the town beach (during summer months only). Both Charlestown town beach and the Breachway which is the state beach further up the lane are within 3 minutes drive from the house. It is YOUR vacation - you are not on a set schedule unless you wish to be. Further, if you wish to attend EAST BEACH (Quonochotaug area of Charlestown) off route 1 you can also have your choice there of the town beach called Blue Shutters or the East State beach.
NOTE: ONLY ONE(1) car per renter week will be reimbursed in this manner. (The beach pass only covers 1 car also).
Charlestown is a little Gem of a Town! Although rural, it is very picturesque and has very little commercialism except for the necessities. It is between Westerly and Narragansett, both towns are more highly populated and very commercial and offer great Shopping facilities.
Charlestown also boasts a small Marina (about 2 blocks from the house) where Visitors may rent a boat, if they so desire. Snug Harbor also offers boat rentals on Route 1 toward Narragansett. There are also nearby ferries to Block Island. Newport offers Boat Rides around Newport, and there are ferries to Martha's Vineyard as well. Town has a lovely library which offers, in addition to books, magazines, newspapers, etc. - INTERNET ACCESS.

- Smoking Not Allowed: No smoking IN THE HOUSE! If outside smoking, MUST BE SURE NO FIRE HAZARD TO HOUSE AND THEMSELVES. DON'T SMOKE IN BED AND/OR WHILE SLEEPING!!

$300 Refundable Security deposit (if no damages).
