THREE MINUTE WALK TO BEACH, BEAUTIFUL WHITE SANDY BEACH
Private and quiet get-away. Far from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Just a three minute walk (200 yards) across the street to the most beautiful beach in the world. Sit on the beach and daydream, watch the clouds roll by, see the glistening palm trees sway, or read a good book or walk the beautiful white sand beach, it is about a three mile walk all together, we are in the middle, so 1.5 either way. We are just a three minute walk to the beach. Nothing is more wonderful to sit on the beach in the evening and watch the moon come out of the water between the Mokalua Islands.
Walk or drive to Quaint Kailua Town to shop in all our cute stores. Restaurant's galore. Buzz's, Assagio's, Baci,California Pizza, Saigon Noodle, Mui Kai,and many more . Best food in the world can be found in Hawaii. We love to eat. Thursdays get fresh fruit and veggies at the Open Market behind the Fire Station between 9AM-10AM only, don't be late. One hour only. Then behind Longs on Thursday evening at 5-7 PM we have another Open Market with wonderful food to eat, fresh produce and beautiful flowers of the Islands. See all of Kailua's friendly people interacting. I have to get new pictures. Everyone say's the apartment is cuter that the pictures.
We have two golf coarses in Kailua, Mid Pac,and Luaana Hills, one also in Waimanalo and two in Kaneohe, Bay View and Pali golf course.
Come and have a great time and Relax............SLOW DOWN TO A SNAILS PACE.....

We had a fantastic week in Kailua and found the cottage to be a perfect location with close proximity to several beaches and downtown. The cottage is comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We usually stay in four or five star hotels, but thoroughly enjoyed this casual island alternative. The only problem was the annoyingly loud pigeon who woke us up every morning at seven!
Owner response:Yes there are birds singing in the morning. Every once in a while there will be an annoying one. People usually get up early here to walk the beach and see the sunrise. It is truly beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kircher's Kottage to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary! We were there for 7 days after a week-long cruise between the islands. We chose Kailua for a time of relaxation and peacefulness after a busy week of cruising. The accomodations were perfect for us...everything we needed was available...and more! The beach was awesome....and the access is truly just across the street. We divided our days between there and Lanikai Beach. My only regret is that we didn't save much time to use the pool...as it was lovely. So much to see and do on Oahu...our days were filled! Mahalo, Lois and George, for providing us with our" home away from home"! It was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

After doing some research, my (now) husband and I settled on Kailua, Hawaii for our honeymoon locale. We could not have been more pleased with this cottage's sweet accomodations, accessibility to the (best) beach, and fabulously quaint town. Our stay was for 8 nights and we were so warmly welcomed by Lois and George, who also allowed my husband to get his piano "fix" while we did laundry. Almost every morning we walked along the beach to the Kalapawai Market for coffee and to play like locals. The market's approximation to the cottage is wonderful, too - such a great resource! Our location also afforded us easy access in the Jeep we rented to get anywhere on the island quite quickly. I recommend driving the coastal highway to get there ... the views are breathtaking. Kayaking, boogeyboarding and kiteboarding are all within a walk's distance on the beach.

I so enjoyed staying here while I visited my daughter. Your cottage is very homey and so conviently located close to the beach and Buzz's. Lois and George you are so very friendly and welcoming.
