A truly unique one-of-a-kind beach house. Our home was recently completed in April 2007. It is a very spacious custom designed and professional decorated home located in the secluded and quaint neighborhood called "Crystal Lake" which is within the world-class Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
It’s the perfect beach house for family gatherings, a house with a large gathering area (dining, living and kitchen rooms are open and free flowing) for large groups, with many private areas (a loft, a private apartment living room, a sitting area, a second kitchen/bar area, three decks and a front porch) for smaller group activities and additional bedrooms.
The total living area consists of a main house and an attached apartment. The main house has 3 bedrooms & 3 ½ bathrooms, while the attached apartment has 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom. The main house and the attached apartment also have 2 rooms (a loft in the main house and a private living room in the apartment) that can be converted into additional bedrooms, making it potentially a 6 bedroom house.
The attached apartment gives this house added versatility. It is designed in a way that makes it feel like it is part of the main house but it can also be separated. The apartment contains one bedroom, a living room or additional bedroom, one bathroom, a second small kitchen/bar area, and a private deck. It is also decorated with the same flair as the main house.
All features in the house are upscale. It has open cathedral ceilings throughout and travertine floors on the first floor. The main house features two master bedroom suites, one on the first floor with a king bed and one on the second floor with a queen bed. Both master bedrooms suites have large bathrooms with Jacuzzi bathtubs and separate walk-in showers, and large walk-in closets.
The main house has a large open kitchen, with granite counter tops and state-of-the art steel appliances. It is open to the dining room and living room, making this the perfect place to entertain and serve large groups. Large LCD TVs, with dvd players, are located throughout our home. It also has high speed wireless internet so the internet can be accessed anywhere.
The location makes this the perfect beach house. It is located on the bayside of Sandestin in the upscale secluded Crystal Lake neighborhood on a private cul-de-sac. The house has a view of Crystal Lake - the largest fresh water lake in Sandestin - from the living areas and the front and back decks. From our beach house, you are only a short walk to the community swimming pool and close to all amenities (golf, tennis, beach, baytown-wharf) in Sandestin. You have the best of both worlds - you are secluded but within reach of everything.
Additional Features:
- We will provide you with amentiy cards, giving you proper authorization so that you will have access to all Sandestin amenities and can come and go 24 hours per day with ease.
- Seven brand new beach bikes (5 adult and 2 kid bikes) are provided free of charge. With miles of running/biking trails throughout Sandestin, this is the perfect way to go to the beach and baytown-wharf or just tour Sandestin.
- A two man ocean kayak is provided free of charge; it can be used on either Crystal Lake or the Gulf of Mexico
- Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boggie boards and beach toys are provided free of charge.
- High chair and crib are provided free of charge
- Two Golf Carts are also available - one is a stretch limo 3-seater and the second one is a conventional 2-seater. One or both of them can be rented for a small additional cost. The golf carts make it convenient (and fun) to drive to the beach, baytown-wharf and grocery store.
We will also consider rental requests for only the main house (3 bedrooms + loft/3.5 bathrooms) at a discounted rate. Depending on the season, the rate will be discounted $100-400/wk if the house is rented without the apartment.
