Barefoot Beach is an upscale, waterfront condominium resort located in the tropical beach community of Indian Shores, just minutes south of Clearwater Beach, FL. This gorgeous island community is conveniently located 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and is close to many popular Florida sites and attractions. The Gulf of Mexico is directly across the street, with a beautiful view of the inland waterway behind the property, adjacent to the pool.
The resort is just 1 ½ hours from Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World, and just 30 minutes from three major league spring training complexes, as well as Busch Gardens of Tampa Bay.
This spacious, two bedroom, one bathroom unit is fully air-conditioned and comfortably sleeps 3 to 6 adults. The unit is a privately owned, tastefully decorated, Key West style getaway. Located on the ground floor, there are no steps or elevator to contend with, which allows you to enjoy the patio outdoors. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom features a full size bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with a flat screen TV. A queen sleeper sofa is available in the living area.
The unit also includes a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and GE appliances. It offers a wet bar,blender, ceiling fans throughout, ceramic tile in the entire living area, a beautiful Florida sun room, and a patio facing the Gulf of Mexico. The bathroom features double-headed ceramic tile shower.
For your convenience, the condominium also includes a new flatscreen digital cable TV in the living area, a DVD player, DVD movies, unlimited local phone service and wireless high-speed internet.
A large heated pool, surrounded by lush palm trees, overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway, boat slips and a fishing dock. Several gas grills are also available throughout the complex for guests to use. Enjoy our private beach access for Barefoot Beach guests, which is located directly across the street from the resort. The beautiful white sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico is literally steps from the front door. Beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys are also available in the condo for your use.
If you enjoy biking, jogging or walking, Gulf Boulevard has recently been redesigned to include designated biking/walking paths.

What a great place to vacation!!! All the comforts of home plus the beach right across the street. Clean , well maintained, equipped condo. Great resturants also close by. We have enjoyed our second year in this condo. Very, very pleased with the condo, location and the co-operation of the owner as well as the condo office personel. It has everything once requires, ground floor, two bedroom, free internet hookup, very clean and well furnished, close to the beach, golf courses, spring training baseball, dog races, horse races, everything. Very clean, attractively decorated and conveniently stocked with linens and cookware and so on - we felt right at home in our little “home away from home.” It was great to have a full kitchen - we did a lot of cooking in, packed lunches on the beach, and late night milk and cookie sessions. :) So close to the beach (and a nice beach too) that we just ran over any time (sunrise, sunset, and everything in between), and within easy driving distance of so many other lovely beaches and so much else. About the owner: We live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have three children and two grandsons. Bill is a lineman for PPL Electric and Debbie is the Advertising Manager of a regional equestrian publication. We have always loved the beach and being near the water, and this area has it all.
Why the Owner Chose Barefoot Beach Resort:
We chose to buy a condominium at Barefoot Beach Resort because of how attractive they are, and how they captured the Florida/Key West feel. We fell in love with the condo itself, and really liked the large swimming pool area. The location of the resort was also key in us choosing Barefoot Beach, plus the convenience to everything--steps away from the beach and the Inland Waterway, 30 minutes from the Tampa Airport, convenient to shopping, Florida attractions in Orlando and more. Indian Shores is a beautiful, quite town just minutes south of Clearwater Beach. There is so much close by, yet is a peaceful and enjoyable resort. We love it there and hope our guest will, too.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love the beach and beautiful sunsets that are right across the street. One of our favorite things to do is have a cup of coffee in the morning at the boat dock on the Inland Waterway, watching the sun come up over the water and boats go by. The pool area is very nice and well maintained, and the entire resort is well maintained too. It is always an enjoyable escape for us and we love it! It is just a peaceful place to relax, yet convenient to all the activities one could want in a beach vacation. Another unique benefit is having one of Florida's best restaurants next door--th Salt Rock Grille--which offers incredible dining for seafood and steaks!
