A Great Space - Indoors and Out. Our weekend retreat and vacation rental is steps away from the Scenic Grand River. Our newly remodeled house is perfect for meetings and people who seek to enjoy the Natural Beauty of Ashtabula County, our local wineries, covered bridges and more. The master bed room with private bath overlooks the woods.
The air conditioned home sits on 25 spacious acres with plenty of room to hike, play bocce, pitch a tent, and have a campfire and more. Bring your bikes, as you will be a short ride to the Greenway Trail. The large kitchen / dining area is great for families and groups to meet. It opens out to a large deck that overloks the yard and woods. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the the Scenic Grand River and The Cleveland Museum of Natural History's Grand River Terraces.
Enjoy nature? Woods Edge is a Bird Watchers delight. Common sightings include Wild Turkeys, Pileated Woodpeckers, Flickers, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Hairy and Downey Woodpeckers, Red Tail Hawks, Baltimore Orioles, Bluebirds, Tree Swallows, Barred Owls, Hummingbirds, Grosbeaks, Scarlet Tanagers, Cedar Wax Wings and many, many more.
Just this spring, people canoeing saw a baby otter and a Bald Eagle as they paddled the Grand River.
