  This is a wonderful place of refuge - you can choose to stay in and relax with all the comforts of home - or be out and about amidst all the activity of Virginia Beach. Having the ocean so close, yet be located off the beaten track was really nice. I was able to go back and forth to see my new grandchild and come to a home away from home for the evenings. Truly a lovely place to stay! I would recommend to friends.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: Thank you for the nice review. The grandbaby due date was not the rental week, so we kept moving the days, lucky I had opening in one of my three units in May. We try to be flexible when things change.

  We stayed at this location while attending the AAU Junior Olympic Track & Field Nationals. It was within walking distance to the beach, the unit had awesome beach equipment available for us to use during our stay, the unit itself was quite charming, and the owners were wonderful! I would recommend this unit for anyone looking for a charming stay close to the beach...we would definitely stay again!

  Owner response: We were glad to help out the track team, our location worked out well for their events around the area. We try to provide so of the beach stuff, to save from buying or carrying extra stuff. Thanks for the nice review.

  What a beautiful beach & a beautiful house. Thanks for everything, we love it very much... Try Aldo's restaurant and Kelly's tavern its really great.   The weather was wonderful at the beach everyday. It was cool and rainy in New York, so that made it even sweeter! Our daughter and her four year old boy was upstairs in the upstairs unit ( 140060 added). This is our second time to stay in Virginia, last year we stayed in Sandbridge which is much farther from the resort. Also thanks for sending David Wright to my favorite team NY Mets! My husband enjoyed the pint of Guinness at Murphy's. Thanks for everything.

  We really enjoyed our stay for the week. Plenty of space for our family of six. The boys loved the beach, enjoyed the attractions, and even liked playing in the back yard. The availabilty of the beach umbrellas and other gear was very helpful. Thanks for helping our first beach vacation with four young sons a huge success.

  Nice location, close to everything. We basically parked in front of the house and walked everywhere. Enjoyed the porch,clean, nice yard. Great place! Highly recommeded.

  This was truly a great family vacation. The convenience of this property was fantastic. There are 2 grocery stores located within walking distance or if you have a lot of groceries- a five minute drive. If you needed something quick 7-11 was right next door. Better yet Dairy Queen is 1 block away!! (the kids loved that!) It was nice to have to drive, look for and finally pay for parking just to go to the beach. The property itself was charming. Everything you could ever need was there. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, even binoculars (we saw some dolphins and got to have fun people watching).... Again nice to not have to rent these or buy them. We loved sitting on the front deck- good for people watching. The kids enjoyed the back yard. Jon the owner was fantastic. Anything you need he is willing to get for you. Thank you to Denise (I hope that is your name) for giving us a clean place to call home for a week. We loved our stay. My little one called this his beach house and we hope to be able to call it that at least once a year. Enjoy your stay! We did!!

  a great time. we brought our bikes, there were tons of bike trails everywhere to ride daily.We saw 15 dolphins just off the shore one day. Busch Gardens was fun. clean place to stay with a nice back yard for grillin' and chillin'. Great for kids/teens. My purse was stolen from the car out front (the kids left it wide open for a brief minute). As with any vacation, one needs to be on guard. We didn't let it ruin our trip. we'll be back!

  The location as indicated is close to the beach, however it backs to a 7-11 where there were people hanging out day and night. The person watching over the property indicated that the owners were away. This was unfortunate because the TV had no volume, the bathroom sink would not drain, we were told that these issues would be addressed when the owners returned. This didn't help our stay. The rubbish was overflowing from the exterior barrels which we put out on rubbish day so that we could discard food left in the refrigerator and cabinets. The property contains 3 rental units with one off street parking and two tags for street parking. Unfortunately for the other 2 renters, they had sons with cars meeting up with them it became stressful trying to find parking for them. An extensive list was provided for cleaning required before departure. It would have helped if the supplies were on hand. It was necessary to purchase items to clean to these specifications. Part of our security deposit was withheld as they felt we had not cleaned properly. After corresponding with the owners however they did make good on the balance of our security deposit.

  Owner response: We are sorry about the guess comments. We have always tried to correct problems as they occur. Problems do occur and we try our best to solve them. Last summer we were rented for 15 weeks solid from Memorial Day to after Labor Day. Our NEW housekeepers and NEW repairman + myself try to keep our units in tip top shape. As mentioned we have a checklist to provide a very clean unit when you arrive and provide the cleaning products for our quests, than have cleaning fee. Our parking, we have 7 spots on street with permits and a 2 car driveway. Normally, this is plenty for three units and their guests. Our rubbish is picked up on Tuesday and we have 4 very large city issued cans, since guests arrive on Saturday there is some overlap. We have a great location one block from the beach in the center of the resort, close to shopping, eating and groceries. I few sorry about my guest, it is my fault. We have changed to prevent this from occuring again. I would hope this guest would come and see the improvements. Thank you.
