Lake Front- This home has majestic views of 3 coves nestled in Mark Twain National Forest but close to downtown Shell Knob, MO.This 2,600 Square Foot home has 3 bedrooms (oversized) and easily sleeps 12. Lake front property with year round Lake View from every window (including jacuzzi in master bathroom). Large great room overlooks large deck and lake. Master bedroom has a king size bed and a futon couch that pulls out to a full bed. The second bedroom has two bunk beds ( a full over full & a twin over twin). The third bedroom has two full size beds. Additional futon chair in living room. Oriental antique carpets. Leather furniture.
Home has everything you will need for a great week. There is satellite TV, XM radio and DVD player with speakers on the deck for outdoor listening pleasure. Washer & dryer on property. Kitchen appliances provided (griddle, waffle iron, slow cooker, vegetable steamer, large outdoor charcoal grill, etc). All mattresses extremely comfortable with all linen's (Egyptian Cotton sheets and towels) provided.
The backyard is large with soft grass and there is a fire pit for evening fun with plenty of wood in the forest to be used. This home is outfitted with everything you would expect to find in your own home. Relax on the new patio furniture on the deck including an eating area and a double chaise lounge.
Gentle walk down (clearly marked) to lake (100 yards) and in Big Bay Cove. Slip available in very close by at Campbell Point Marina for $84 a week ($12 a day for covered slip). The home is one cove away from the National Forest boat launch so for those comfortable with mooring up at the bottom of the property, no worries.
Water sports close by so if you don't have a boat, no worries, rentals available close by (boats & seadoos).

Surprising privacy...Stunning view...Living area (kitchen, living, dining) is very open and perfect for large group. Furnishings are very nice throughout including audio/visual. All beds were comfortable. Roomy deck with lots of nice outdoor furniture. Very Satisfied.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Wonderful place to stay! Very Comfortable! Jim was easy to communicate with and very accommodating during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck in the evenings. It was truly a great getaway with all the comforts of home.

My group had such an amazing time in this house. There were eight of us out for a long weekend and the house was more than big enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The deck and fire pit are great features and the hike to the water is a great way to wake up after breakfast. The kitchen is huge, with beautiful woodwork and marble. After the first night everyone gushed about what a great night's sleep they all got and how comfortable the beds all were. It was perfect! I even enjoyed corresponding with Jim, the owner of the house, over the months of planning our trip. You could tell that this house is loved and is loved to be shared. I highly recommend this rental to anyone and everyone.
