This is a modern and unique 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse-style duplex in quaint, quiet, Olde Marco, a comfortable home away from home. It is within easy walking distance of fine restaurants, historic sites and shopping. Grounds are landscaped with tropical native vegetation, tropical fruits in season and orchids in bloom.

The living room, dining room, and bedrooms are carpeted. Kitchen, laundry and baths are tile.

The living room features a large comfortable seating area, a 40" LCD HD TV, with DVD player and VCR. There is a deck off the living room overlooking the pool and canal, a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink or watch the osprey catch fish to take to it's nest.

Dining area seats 6, with appropriate number of dishes and glassware. There is everything from basic coffee mugs to champagne goblets.

This first level has a master suite with a king size bed and adjoining bath with two sinks, tub and shower. There is a TV in the bedroom and a screened deck accessible by sliding glass doors, providing plenty of privacy from the rest of the house.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, microwave, and pots and pans.

Conveniently located off the kitchen is a laundry room with a large-capacity washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, and a rack for fine washables.

On the second floor are two more bedrooms. One is a master suite, with a king size bed, TV, and a bath with walk-in shower. A screened deck overlooks the pool and waterway. There is also a bedroom with a set of twin beds on this level, with an adjacent screened deck.

All linens and towels are included.

Central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout for more cooling.

The pool is heated and is south oriented to be in the sun. There are lounges to relax on and maybe catch a little nap, and table and chairs to have a poolside snack.

A dock is available for your boat, doing a little fishing or just sitting and enjoying the view. The canal provides direct access to the Gulf of Mexico.

There is an outdoor grill for your favorite foods.

Two private parking spaces for your cars, conveniently located near the front door, are provided.

The place was very nice - plenty of room for a family of 6. Pool was wonderful - in the sun for most of the day. Landscaping added privacy to the property. Hosts were accomodating. We even saw manatees in the canal behind the house!

This is by far, one of the nicest homes we have ever rented. It has an unique charm...modern up to the minute house and Old Florida tropical landscaping. It's like living in a botanical garden. We enjoyed eating home grown bananas and citrus.... Thanks for everything!! Carol and Mike

We are at the property as I write this comment. It's easy because the owners provide free wireless internet access. This property is truley remarkable. It is the first place we ever rented that exceeds the owners description and our own expectations in every detail. It is obvious from the moment you walk in the front door that the owners take great pride in their property and it really shows. If you are looking for a 3/2 pool home and this is available don't pass it up !

My yearly visit to this Marco property in November 2007 was wonderful. The weather was beautiful and the home is spacious and comfortable. I especially like the stone walkways that lead you through the tropical landscaped property. I'll be back next year if not sooner!
