Your very own private large three bedroom, two bathroom, 2000 square foot, open ranch style home, in an exclusive gated community, the Lake Moovalya Keys on the Colorado River, located along the Parker Strip, in Parker, Arizona....is waiting for you! If you are searching for the perfect river vacation getaway---look no further.
The Parker River Rental House is located right on the river in the private "No Wake" canals - this gives you calm water and an area for the kids to swim, play and float out in the canal just steps from the house. Huge windows along the entire back of the house provide a panoramic water view of the canal. There is 50 feet of private dock that runs the length of the property, for your boats and toys - right outside your back door. The river house boasts a large covered patio the runs the width of the house about 45 feet x 17 feet, creating a roomy yet comfortable place, sheltered all day from the sun, to relax, enjoy friends, to watch the sun set over the red rocks, and watch other boaters cruise up and down the canal. After a full day of being out on the river, there is nothing better than a BBQ and hanging out on the dock. If the river is calling you just step into your boat right off your private dock and away you go!
You can even arrange to have the parasailing boat pick you up on your private dock.
This home is decorated with comfort in mind, has everything you could possibly need, fully stocked closets with extra blankets, towels, a large movie collection and much more, but no extra owner items are stored around the home - to make you feel like it is your vacation home. With the very open layout of the Living Room / Kitchen and eating area this is the perfect entertaining home - with the hostess in mind. You can be cooking watching the kids outside from the kitchen or at the same time you are able to watch TV from across the room. The home is kept clean and always maintained. This Keys home is your “home away from home.”
The Parker River House comfortable sleeps 10. There is also wide parking spots in the front of the house which is a luxury in the Keys. The trailer lot is located right down the road from the house.
The large Master Bedroom is 18 feet x 16 feet with a Cal King Bed with its own private Master Bathroom. There are also two large second and third bedrooms both with two queen beds in each room. There are two bathrooms plus an outdoor shower.
The Huge Living Room (large enough to play Twister in!) features 3 large sofas plus 3 additional chairs for everyone to be inside if they choose as well as a big HDTV with a DVD and VHS player in living room. Also in the home there are large new ceiling fans throughout.
Parker River Rental is a great family home and attracts guests of all ages. Perfect summer water-sport get-away or Snowbird Retreat Rental for the winter months. Winter visitors enjoy riding motorcycles and ATV's or just relaxing. There is year round fishing and golf out at the river.
The Parker River House is conveniently located just minutes by boat or car to many of Parker's restaurants. The town of Parker is right down the road where you will find a 24 hour Safeways with a Starbucks in it and lots of local shopping - like Spanky's RV and Marine down the road for your boating needs. The always exciting Blue Water Casino which has a movie theater with all the current releases playing daily, also has a higher end restaurant located in the casino as well. If you want to pull your boat and do a day trip to Lake Havasu it is about 45 minutes and you will also find plenty to do, it is home to the LONDON BRIDGE, TOPOCK GORGE, AND BILL WILLIAMS WILDERNESS PRESERVES.
For launching your boat there is a public boat ramp is located one mile down river on Riverside Drive at the large stop signs for easing launching capabilities - it is a 3 trailer width launch ramp. This stretch of the Parker Strip is ideal for water-skiing and wake-boarding. Get up early, jump into your ski boat and get an early morning run on glass water just before the No Wake down near the Blue Water – when you are done hear over to Badenochs or head back to the house for a home cooked breakfast. For those people new to Parker the water temperature is much warmer than Laughlin / Bullhead area.

If you are a pilot you can land at the local Parker airport (P20) - you are about 1.5 hrs from Burbank depending on the plane you have. You can refuel (Gas there is 100LL and JetA) and have minor repairs performed please check AirNav website for more airport details.

Why the Owner Chose Parker
I love Parker over Lake Havasu because you can leave your boat in all week and use the boat to get to the restaurants and casino. It is fun having the option to go by boat or car. The location of the home in the Lake Moovalya Keys is great - the kids can swim out front of the house and since we are in a "No Wake" zone it is a safe place as well. April and October are my favorite months out there - warm in the daytime and still cool enough to open the windows at night!

I love to sit on the deck and wave to other boaters cruising in the canal - everyone is always friendly and having a great time - it's the River! I love being on River time - it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

We had a great time here. It sleeps 10 comfortably and the house has plenty of room for everyones food/things. The home is completely remodeled and everything is beautiful inside and out. The dock is great and large enough for our two 21 foot boats. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and we will DEFINATELY stay here agin. This place is 5-star all the way, I/we highly recommend it.

Loved the house. The deck is boat friendly and gets afternoon shade. Great place to fish or relax. House was perferct for my use. The owners are friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay hassle free!

I have been renting this property for years! At least once a year for the last 5 years and sometimes up to 3 or 4 times a year. Whenever I arrive there it feels like I'm coming home. It's like a feeling of Zen comes over me!!! It's my favorite place in the Keys. Plenty of room for a large group, great patio area and just an overall great place to stay.

My husband and I decided to go check out Parker Arizona real estate in April of 2009. We lucked out through word of mouth to rent a home in the Moovalya Keys in the heart of Parker. The home was like a home, very cozy, CLEAN and the pictures are a true reflection of how pretty the home is. Laura Lancaster-Smet was very easy to deal with, very professional. We didn't end up buying a home in Parker so we will be back to this rental property hopefully in August 2010 if their is still room available! I could not recommend this property more. Being on the keys and being able to park our boat out front with no worries is huge for us. It is a very secure, gated community with lots of friendly neighbors near by. The home is in walking distance to a convenience store which is great when you are wanting to pick up some bags of ice or something you forgot on your main grocery shop. The bars and restaurants were not only fun but delicious if you don't feel like cooking. This home has a HUGE kitchen if you do have the urge to cook. When we go back, this property has ample space to sleep 10! The beds are beyond comfy and again, everything is well maintained and very CLEAN. Enjoy.
