Enjoy unique entertainment and fun in the sun at this original family owned bungalow. A short walk to the beach and short drive from restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, this cottage is perfect for large gatherings and family get-togethers.
The first floor of this two-story cottage has a large open floor plan featuring a kitchen island, huge 10 foot pine farmhouse style dining table original to the house, and a large sectional sofa with recliners and a sofa bed. The TV area has another couch with sofa bed, love-seat and chairs. There is a large full bath with a new washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen opens to the back yard which features a large deck, heated pool and hot tub, outdoor shower, table and chairs, lounge furniture and gas/charcoal grills. The yard is fully landscaped with native tropical plants and a 50 year old magnolia. Enjoy dining, swimming, and relaxing in this private oasis.
The second floor has a large master bedroom with king bed plus large TV. Two additional bedrooms have two double beds each, a fourth bedroom has one double bed. All are decorated in a beach motif with family antiques and shabby chic finds. There is also a second large full bath. With all beds used and the fold-out beds downstairs, you can comfortably sleep 16.
The house is located 150 feet from the ocean, a short one block away. Nearby, walk to the Cabana Mart convenience store, Mr. G's ice cream stand, and Molly Darcy's Irish Pub. The cottage is 16 blocks South of the famed Main Street of Ocean Drive, home to restaurants, local hang-outs and the "shag". A short five to ten minute drive South is the Barefoot Landing area with the House of Blues, Alabama Theatre, restaurants and shopping. A little further down is the Colonial Mall and the Tanger Outlets featuring big names and good bargains. Downtown Myrtle Beach and all it has to offer is a short 14 miles away.
