Come and relax at our cabin right on the Tuckaseegee River in the Smoky Mountains. The "Trout-Stocked" Tuckaseegee River flows right in front of this beautiful new mountain cabin!
PAVED DRIVEWAY LEADS TO MAIN ENTRANCE OF CABIN- ONE OF THE FEW HOMES ON THIS RIVER THAT HAS THIS FEATURE AS WELL AS MASTER ON MAIN! NO STAIRS TO CLIMB IF ACCESSED BY PAVED DRIVE!
Features include an enormous wrap-around porch overlooking the river, a gas fireplace, satellite 51 inch Big Screen TV, beautiful (new) furnishings throughout the entire cabin, giant vaulted ceilings in the great room which provides tons of light, and a fire pit where you can hear the river roar as you roast your favorite marshmallow. Cabin is equipped to sleep up to 6 people. Kitchen is fully equipped with all of your cooking utensils so you can prepare the perfect meal of your choice.
"Best Catch Cabin" is located on the famous delayed harvest section of the Tuckaseegee River where there are 49,000 trout stocked within a 6 miles radius on an annual basis (This is a Fisherman's Dream!) For those individuals who do not fish, enjoy tubing and playing in the river, shopping in Dillsboro or Sylva, heading to the Cherokee casino, or just relaxing in your cozy mountain cabin.
Our riverfront cabin is located in Sylva, North Carolina (Just 2 and Half Hours North of Atlanta!) in the Smoky Mountains. We are centrally located and only minutes away from many activities and sightseeing locations such as: Asheville, North Carolina and the Biltmore House, Cherokee, Bryson City, Franklin, Waynesville, Harrah's Hotel & Casino, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Western Carolina University, and Catoloochee Ski Area.
"Best Catch" is a well decorated cedar cabin (with brand new Hard Wood Floors throughout) which offers a master bedroom that has a King bed set, with a sliding glass door that opens to the covered porch where you can site on your rocker and listen to river flow by. The second bedroom room offers a queen bedroom set. An open kitchen with a center island bar, breakfast/dining area, a family room with a sliding glass door that opens to a large covered deck overlooking the river, and a stone gas fireplace make this a very charming place to stay. The open deck on both sides of the porch lets you enjoy the rushing river view and sounds of the outdoors.
For those of you that like to entertain, you can enjoy our large big screen tv where you can bring your favorite DVD’s or use the ones we provide or relax by the fire with a board game. Don’t forget that this river has some of the best trout fishing in the South-east so don’t forget to bring your fly rod. Because of the above and our private road access, our mountain hideaway is considered to be one of the best cabin rentals in the area.
