Welcome to our wonderful, fully updated and amenitized Tahoe vacation getaway home. Located just ½ mile from Tahoe City (and its shops, supermarkets and restaurants), 1 mile from Sunnyside Resort and Marina, just across from the wonderful Tahoe House Gourmet Deli & Bakery, and 5 miles from the Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows ski areas.
This spacious 2,200 sf, two-story home, with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, rests on a large corner lot with a level, wide open grassy yard area, ideal for either summertime or wintertime outdoor entertainment. In winter, the level driveway and garage make for easy access and abundant parking (up to 6 cars), including boat/trailer/RV. The home comfortably sleeps 7 in rooms and 2 more on the designer chase lounge and comfy sofa.
The home was fully remodeled in 2006, and includes a sunny south-facing great room that has new dual pane picture frame windows looking out onto the newly completed spacious upstairs deck. In fact, the home has 2 outdoor decks and a stonework patio as well.
The upstairs great room includes a gourmet kitchen, a 12-person dining table, gas fireplace and spacious living/family room complete with all the audio/visual entertainment equipment you could wish for – 48” flat panel LCD TV, DVD player, and complete stereo/CD system.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking and dining items needed to prepare a first-class meal and enjoy casual or formal dining experience (includes 2 ovens with microwave, 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, ice maker). High-end but comfortable and functional furnishings, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, a beautiful fireplace hearth and mantle and recessed lighting (with dimmer switches) make the entire upstairs the place to entertain or just while the hours away in this sunny getaway.
The downstairs has 2 large bedrooms, each with an adjoining full bathroom. One bedroom has a double lower bunk and single upper bunk, and the other has a king bed and single bunk beds. Adjoining these two rooms is the “spa room,” which includes an indoor sauna and changing area, and looks out onto the outside deck and stone patio area. The 6-person hot tub is located as part or this deck, and rests underneath the 2nd story deck for additional privacy and protection; it’s the perfect atmosphere to take a long soak after a day of skiing or boating. A hallway closet offers storage as well as hides the conveniently located washer and dryer. All bedroom linens and bathroom towels are provided.
Beautiful outdoor patio furniture for both the upstairs and downstairs decks allow our guests to pick their favorite sunny or shady spot to have a glass of wine or cup of coffee and read a book. With the propane barbeque you’re ready to enjoy Tahoe’s renowned summer weather and a favorite Tahoe pastime, the family barbeque. Two beach cruiser bikes, jogging stroller, croquet and badminton are included sporting amenities as well as beach chairs for our HOA's private beach, a safe 3-minute walk away. This is our home away from home, and we want you to feel at home here as well!

- We have designer couches, a chase lounge and a very comfy sofa that 2 could sleep on. Large Flat screen TV in living room and kitchen, two minute walk to private home owners beach and pier plus private buoy (additional charges for buoy use apply). Two car garage with plenty of level parking. Beutifully decorated with a modern "cabin" style. Southern exposure allows plenty of sun light through large dual pane windows.

Our family had a fantastic time at your home. The home was perfect with enough separation from the kids when they were playing pingpong or relaxing in the hot tub. The beds were comfy and the home was very clean. The pictures clearly represented what an amazing home. The stairs did not pose a problem, I considered it a built-in daily work out. We will return again next year if your lovely home if it is available

The house is a great location, close to the Y and Sunnyside.The HOA beach was great with the BBQ we went there everyday. The House does have alot of stairs so keep that in mind. Great with two families because each bedroom had its own bathroom. Furnishings very nice and nice kitchen. We felt very much at home. Would definitely go back.

We loved the home! The kitchen and dining area was fabulous for our family to gather and enjoy a meal together. We got up in the morning a took the short pleasant walk to Tahoe City for coffee, the proximity to the Lake and quant restaurants was fabulous. The master suite was perfect too!! I contacted the owner on a weekly rate as we loved the weekend that we stayed. Michael Pritchard

A very nice home. Equipped well for a rental home. A bit of serendipity was the unique electric perculator which appears to be not very common today. An excellent coffee maker and really fun to find. One note is the "steps"; lots of steps in the house. A problem for us in that our daughter-in-law has RA, anyway a personal concern. You'll enjoy your stay I do believe.

What a great stay! The home is very comfortable and our kids really enjoyed the vast yard to play on. Amenities such as modern kitchen, flat screen TVs, hot tub and oversized sofas only added to our enjoyment. And location, location, location...close proximity to Tahoe City and Sunnyside and 100 yards to private beach...we'll be back.
